The Akatsuki captured several Tailed Beasts and devastated Iwagakure while Tianyi pursued his plan to reshape the Ninja World and took Nagato’s Rinnegan. The arc left Obito face-to-face with Rin after Tianyi summoned her, while the villages began forming an alliance against the Akatsuki.

• Pain dispatched Akatsuki members to capture the Tailed Beasts, while Tianyi briefly revived Rin and sent her back to the Underworld.
• Jiraiya returned to Konoha convinced that Tianyi matched the Great Toad Elder’s prophecy, as Itachi’s squad fought its way through the Chunin Exams’ Forest of Death.
• Tianyi told Tsunade and Shikaku that he planned a revolution to end the daimyō’s supremacy and unify the Ninja World without starting a great war.
• Pain attacked Iwagakure, captured Rōshi, and defeated Ōnoki, Kitsuchi, and the Stone forces with Planetary Devastation.
• Tianyi wounded Nagato, took one of his Rinnegan, and escaped with Rōshi, while Iwagakure discovered that Ōnoki and Kitsuchi had died.
• Tianyi extracted Son Goku’s chakra and awakened the Giant Tenseigan, while Obito escaped with Nagato and the villages began discussing an alliance against the Akatsuki.
• Obito attacked Kakashi and took his Sharingan, but Tianyi arrived, identified him, and summoned Rin with Impure World Reincarnation.
• Rin walked toward Obito, who stopped fighting and embraced her.

Madara revived, led the Akatsuki against the Hidden Cloud, and then fought Tianyi after the Leaf and Hidden Mist forces converged. Tianyi destroyed the Ten-Tails’ first form, but Madara absorbed it and transformed into its Jinchūriki as his inner will began taking control.

• Tianyi shattered Obito’s right eye after telling him Rin had loved Kakashi, and Black Zetsu used Nagato’s life force to resurrect Madara.
• Madara took control of the Akatsuki, sealed several tailed beasts, and led the group to attack Kumogakure, where he killed Raikage A and captured Killer B.
• Tsunade approved Tianyi’s plan to escort Kushina to the Hidden Mist, while Madara revived Kinkaku and Ginkaku and headed for the same village.
• Tianyi and Yagura engaged Madara near Kirigakure, and Tianyi used a hydrogen bomb to destroy the battlefield, the Hidden Mist forces, and Isobu.
• Tianyi faced Madara with a Giant Stone Bear Statue as the Moon Clan redirected a meteor toward the Ninja World and Madara summoned the Ten-Tails.
• Tianyi’s Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion split the Ten-Tails apart, but Madara absorbed its collapsing body and became its Jinchūriki.
• Minato, Fugaku, Shisui, and Tianyi attacked Madara’s swollen white form with Rasengan, Yasaka Beads, and explosive tags as Madara’s inner will began to take control.

Tianyi and Rabbit Nation destroyed the Ten-Tails, exposed Black Zetsu’s plan, and confronted the international consequences of Rabbit Nation’s power. As a secret coalition launched nuclear strikes, Rabbit Nation prepared to redirect the warheads, while White Elephant opened a border invasion that ended with a nuclear flash.

• Madara became the Ten-Tails and attacked the tailed beasts, but Rabbit Nation’s missile barrage battered the creature until Tianyi split it apart and Minato sealed Madara’s remaining power.
• Tianyi revealed that Black Zetsu had manipulated Madara to revive Kaguya, and Madara was taken to a sealing prison as Tianyi collected Ten-Tails remains and arranged habitats for the tailed beasts.
• After Tianyi seized Chinese artifacts from the British Museum and disabled John Bull’s nuclear forces, Rabbit Nation announced its withdrawal from the United Nations and demanded global disarmament.
• Bear Nation and forty-two countries secretly formed a military alliance, but Tianyi and Rabbit Nation tracked their nuclear deployments and destroyed many launch units before the coalition ordered remaining forces to attack independently.
• When nuclear warheads approached Rabbit Nation, Tianyi, Minato Namikaze, Kushina Uzumaki, and the military prepared Flying Thunder God Formations to redirect the strikes, completing the last major-city formation two days later.
• White Elephant’s president ordered an invasion of western Rabbit Nation, and its troops advanced as Rabbit Nation forces withdrew from border strongholds.
• Rabbit Nation captains told their assembled soldiers that headquarters would resolve the White Elephant threat, then a nuclear flash appeared on the horizon.

After forcing the world’s governments to submit, Tianyi persuaded Madara to support a unified Ninja World and prepared Konoha for war. As the Leaf forces mobilized, Itachi discovered a plot against his family and rushed toward the capital, where his mother and Sasuke had been abducted.

• White Elephant’s president saw that nuclear strikes had devastated his country, and more than forty governments requested a ceasefire before Rabbit Nation demanded their leaders come to Upper Capital and sign its terms.
• Rabbit Nation gave the visiting leaders a humiliating welcome before Tianyi threatened them with destruction, demonstrated his power over John Bull Nation, and made them sign the treaty.
• Tianyi showed Madara the continent’s history and development plans, persuading him that lasting peace required integrating the Ninja World rather than trapping people in genjutsu.
• Tianyi brought Madara to Konoha and told its leaders that Black Zetsu had manipulated history, an Ōtsutsuki enemy remained, and the Leaf Village would unite the Ninja World and unseal Kaguya.
• Jiraiya met Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, received a sun mark, and vowed to stop Tianyi, while Konoha mobilized for war and Fugaku agreed to Tianyi’s plan for Itachi.
• Tianyi let Obito hear Rin and gave him the chance to die for Konoha, then Tsunade rallied the assembled ninja as the Leaf forces prepared to fight.
• Itachi’s reconnaissance team uncovered a plot by four hidden villages to attack a fashion show attended by Leaf clan leaders and noblewomen, and Itachi rushed toward the capital after learning his mother and Sasuke were in danger.
• Itachi found evidence that several attackers had abducted his mother and Sasuke alive, and dark chakra erupted from him as madness appeared in his eyes.
