Background / History

Kaido invaded Wano Country and destroyed Ringo, prompting Gecko Moria and the Moonlight Pirates to attempt a desperate defense. He recognized Moria’s resolve as worthy of respect before preparing to finish him with Great Overlord: Thunder Bagua. 280

At the time of the Wano conflict, Kaido operated from Onigashima and commanded an earlier version of the Beasts Pirates. His bounty was 3.2 billion Beli; King, Queen, and Huazha were already under his command, while Jack was still five years old. 286
