Background / History

Geto is a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a Grade 1 sorcerer who fights beside Satoru Gojo and Ieiri Shoko. He immediately welcomes Lu Ping’s growth in the Ten Shadows Technique, assuming that Lu has successfully tamed another shikigami. 2

He believes sorcerers have a duty to protect ordinary people, arguing that “the strong protect the weak.” Lu Ping’s public agreement with this conviction makes Geto regard him with unusual warmth and recognition. 2

During the Hoshimi Shrine attack, Geto arrives on Rainbow Dragon to stop Miwa Seigen’s underground escape and helps force the curse user into sacrificing his shikigami to flee. 13 14 He later investigates the shrine’s layered barriers and the theft of Sukuna’s Finger, identifying the inner barrier as one based on identity rather than cursed energy. 16 17
