Early Jujutsu High Missions

Gojo joins Geto and Shoko after Lu Ping defeats a Grade 2 Cursed Spirit. His Six Eyes detect a violent, unfamiliar residue around Lu Ping, leading him to suspect an unprecedented development connected to the Ten Shadows Technique. Rather than press for an explanation, Gojo becomes eager to see Lu Ping grow stronger. 2

During the Caterpillar Cursed Spirit mission, Gojo uses Blue to reach the rooftop and crushes the main body with a punch. When the curse divides into offspring, he deliberately sends several toward Lu Ping and Shoko to test Lu Ping’s new shikigami. 3

Hoshimi Shrine Incident

Gojo arrives after Lu Ping and Shoko are trapped by Miwa Seigen’s forces. After confirming their survival, he destroys Ironhide Centipede with Technique Reversal: Blue and attempts to interrogate Miwa rather than kill him outright. 13

He adapts Limitless to counter poison gas, disperses Sea Moon’s fog, and renders its self-destruction harmless. Although Miwa ultimately escapes, Gojo welcomes Lu Ping and Shoko back with genuine relief. 14

Gojo then investigates the ruined shrine with Geto, Shoko, and Lu Ping. He recognizes that Hoshimi Shrine held a sealed Sukuna Finger, helps uncover the inner shrine, and discovers evidence that someone without detectable cursed energy entered the site. 16 17

Support for Lu Ping

After reviewing Lu Ping’s performance at Hoshimi Shrine, Gojo begins regarding him as a reliable companion rather than merely a junior. He agrees with Shoko that Lu Ping must be removed from active missions until he recovers and threatens to confront the higher-ups if they ignore that decision. 15

Following Snakebone Village, Gojo sincerely thanks Lu Ping for bringing Geto back safely and for previously saving Shoko. Lu Ping’s promise to help him if needed makes Gojo reconsider his belief that he and Geto alone must be sufficient. 50

Jujutsu High Attacks

Gojo’s growing mobility makes him an overused asset for Jujutsu Headquarters, which repeatedly sends him to remote locations to exorcise powerful curses. 32

When Jujutsu High is sealed under a Curtain during his absence, Gojo sends word that he is returning immediately. By the time the Snakebone Village survivors return, he has already defeated the curse users who attacked the school, though he is disappointed that they were only minor operatives. 33 49
