Background

Ronawa was born as a Special-Grade Curse Spirit from humanity's fear of death. Although she initially disliked the form she had taken as Death's Sovereign, she accepted her nature and chose to maintain the balance between life and death rather than indiscriminately create death. 1

Satoru Gojo initially considered exorcising her, but spared her after learning of her growth condition and stated principles. He placed her under his personal supervision, arranged an official identity and residence, and accepted one of her Death Feathers as evidence that she had been exorcised. 2 Ronawa later moved in with Shoko Ieiri, where she adopted an ordinary civilian routine, including using a smartphone and playing online games. 2 6

Suguru Geto subsequently forced Ronawa into cooperation by threatening to expose her identity.
