Becoming Naruto Uzumaki

"What the hell is this place?" Looking at the unfamiliar room after waking up in an unfamiliar bed, the yellow bedding, then the white pajamas on his body, he pulled off the black nightcap on his head. Why did it all feel so familiar?

"This scene feels so familiar. It seems like I've seen it somewhere before." After getting out of bed, he suddenly spotted a decorative painting hanging on the wall by the bed. It had the Konoha symbol on it.

"The Konoha symbol?"

"No wonder it felt familiar. The more I look at it, the more it resembles Naruto's room."

The more he thought about it, the more wrong it felt. He searched everywhere for a mirror and finally found one in the bathroom. In the mirror, he saw a familiar face, but it definitely was not his own.

"What?! What is going on?! How did I become Naruto Uzumaki?!"

"And... who am I? I have all my memories. I'm a Naruto fan, and I watched the entire series. I've become Naruto now, but I've forgotten only my original name..."

Now that he had become Naruto, he hurriedly opened the door and ran out into the street. His heart immediately pounded violently. Judging from the architectural style here, wasn't this Konoha Village? He would recognize this village even if it turned to ashes.

Having become Naruto, he ran back into the room and searched everywhere for clues. He found Naruto's usual orange ninja outfit, as well as a Konoha Village ninja forehead protector.

After finishing the ramen, Naruto put on his orange ninja outfit and forehead protector, then dashed outside.

"Hinata, here I come!" Naruto shouted loudly, startling several pedestrians on the street.

Naruto started running when someone suddenly ambushed him from ahead. The person shouted, "Fight me and settle this once and for all!"

Naruto stopped. The person had tripped over his own invisibility cloth and crashed face-first onto the ground.

"Konohamaru?" Naruto said, "I don't have time to play with you right now. I'm leaving."

After shaking off Konohamaru, Naruto headed for the main road. As long as he got there, he would run into Hinata.

So Naruto waited there. People came and went along the street until he spotted someone familiar.

"Whoa!" Naruto exclaimed. "It's Sasuke. This guy really is handsome, no wonder he's such a heartthrob. Morning, Sasuke."

Sasuke, who happened to be passing by, heard Naruto call out to him. He glanced over, then ignored him with an aloof expression.

"Tch, what's so great about that?" Naruto said smugly. "So what if every girl in the class has a crush on you? I have Hinata. I'm not losing to you at all. Hehehe..."

"Naruto..." Hinata walked over at that moment. She noticed Naruto first, but Naruto's attention was still on Sasuke, and he had not noticed her.

Hinata's little face turned red. She stopped walking, too afraid to approach Naruto.

"Hehehe..." Naruto was still grinning foolishly. Once Sasuke had gone far away, Naruto remembered that he had something more important to do and started looking around again.

Seeing Naruto looking around everywhere, Hinata thought, Is Naruto waiting for someone...? He looks so anxious. The person he's waiting for must be very important to him...

At last, Naruto spotted Hinata. He eagerly ran over, and the moment he stood before her, he said, "I definitely won't kiss Sasuke today. I'm saving my first kiss for you."

"Ah—" Hinata's face turned incredibly red as she struck Naruto in the chest with one palm. Naruto was instantly sent flying backward.

Blushing shyly, Hinata quickly ran away. Even after she had gone some distance, she stopped and looked back, worried about whether Naruto was hurt. She truly did not know why she had used so much strength. Hinata worried about Naruto, but she did not have the courage to go check on him.

"I... I'm not going to make it... That was so strong..." Naruto crashed headfirst beside the road, feeling his insides churn as he nearly lost the ability to breathe.

"Ha—" Naruto sharply sucked in a breath and gently rubbed his chest. Looking down, he saw a large bruise. It seemed he was seriously hurt.

"So scary. She's so strong." Naruto said, "Hinata looks so delicate, but that strength is already far beyond an adult from my original world. Is this the power of a ninja...? Even Hinata, who seems to be the weakest right now, is far stronger than me..."

Naruto endured the pain and slowly walked forward step by step. Since Hinata had hit him, he could only blame himself.

Naruto thought, Even knowing the plot isn't that useful. If I don't follow the plot, unexpected things can happen at any moment...

After much difficulty, he finally arrived at the Ninja Academy and entered the place where the briefing was being held. Naruto casually found a seat and sat down.

Shikamaru happened to pass by and said, "Naruto? Weren't you unable to graduate? Why are you here?"

"Can't you see my forehead protector?" Naruto said. "I graduated successfully. I'm already a ninja who can stand on my own."

Something was wrong! Naruto realized the situation was very wrong. His conversation with Shikamaru just now had been exactly like the original plot. If things followed the original plot, wouldn't he have to kiss Sasuke...

Naruto looked at Sasuke beside him. Sasuke was merely sitting silently, doing nothing, yet he radiated an aura of coolness.

"No, I need to get farther away. I can't stay too close to Sasuke." Naruto stood up and backed away several steps, wanting to keep his distance from Sasuke.

"Sasuke—" Sakura suddenly rushed over and shoved Naruto, who was blocking her path, aside. Sakura was even stronger, directly pushing Naruto toward Sasuke.

Sakura immediately froze stiff. Everyone present froze as well. Sakura had suddenly shoved Naruto, and he had actually been pushed into Sasuke. Now Sasuke and Naruto were kissing.
