After sampling the Douluo-style shut-in feast, Yang Ming rubbed his bloated stomach, feeling like he would not need to eat the next day. It was unbearably greasy.
Yang Ming and the others waited until nightfall before making their move. Opening the window of their rented room, Yang Ming looked down at the deserted street. Only the occasional patrol of fat guards passed by, and he frowned slightly.
"I didn't expect this satellite city controlled by the Elephant Armor Sect to enforce a curfew. This will be troublesome. It'll make tonight's operation more difficult."
Though he said that, Yang Ming showed no concern whatsoever. Aside from the rookie Cat Girl Duoduo, both Yang Ming and Feng Baobao were bold because of their skill. Bracing his right hand against the windowsill, he leaped out and landed steadily on the ground.
Cat Girl Duoduo had it easier. Her Vampire Physique, created by the Stone Mask, allowed her to move through the night like a fish in water. She transformed into dozens of bats and circled above Yang Ming's head, both keeping watch and preventing her clumsy movement techniques from exposing a weakness that might attract the guards' attention.
It was worth mentioning that although the Vampire Physique prevented Cat Girl Duoduo from being exposed to direct sunlight, she could still avoid being burned by the sun's rays if she wore a black robe that covered her completely. However, she practically had no combat ability during the day.
Enough nonsense. Back to the matter at hand.
Following the route of the patrol that had only recently passed through, Yang Ming quietly trailed behind them. They did not notice Yang Ming and Feng Baobao at all.
