Inside a tavern.
"Sir, here are the food and wine you ordered. Please enjoy."
A man dressed like a waiter placed the dishes in his hands onto the table one by one, his brows carrying an air of humility and respect.
Yang Ming picked up his wine cup, the corners of his lips curling into a faintly mocking smile. Just as the waiter thought Yang Ming was about to drink, Yang Ming suddenly flicked his right hand, splashing the wine from the cup at the waiter's face like a spray of water arrows.
"I've been exposed!"
The waiter's expression changed drastically. He raised his heels, balanced on his toes like a night cat walking, and swiftly retreated.
"Sizzle!"
The wine missed and splashed onto the empty wooden floorboards. The highly toxic liquid immediately corroded pitted marks into the ground, wisps of green smoke rising from it. One glance was enough to tell how potent the poison was.
"Attack!"
Seeing that the waiter had failed to poison him, the sparsely seated patrons of the tavern immediately slammed their hands on the tables and rose. Their faces twisted viciously as weapons of every kind pointed at Yang Ming, who remained seated where he was.
Flashing blades, dancing swords.
Enemies lay in ambush on all sides; killing intent arose on its own.
The smile on Yang Ming's lips did not fade as he softly uttered:
"Shinra Tensei!"
