Old Jack lay in a pool of blood. His abdomen had been pierced by a sharp weapon, leaving a hole as deep as an index finger.
One hand clutched the wound tightly, hoping to stop the bleeding, but blood still seeped through his fingers. As his injuries worsened, Old Jack's face grew increasingly pale.
Though he was already barely clinging to life, Old Jack worried about his grandson Yang Ming's safety. He stubbornly held on, refusing to breathe his last.
