The Six-Clawed Demon Emperor and the Ant Emperor cast wary glances at the Black Devouring Demon Mist drifting through the sky. Carefully avoiding any place where it might descend, they pressed on with trembling hearts toward the depths of the 9th Abyssal Layer.
Dark figures occasionally drifted across the road. They resembled tall human women, their bodies covered in dark purple scales, with a pair of wings growing from their backs and bony claws at the wingtips. Deep black light flickered in their eyes.
They looked very human, and their features were remarkably suited to human tastes. They were beautiful, with curves that would have been considered devilishly alluring even in the human world, their extraordinarily voluptuous figures utterly seductive. Yet they stood over three meters tall, and the black scales covering their bodies gave off an eerie sheen.
They were a race unique to the Abyssal Ninth Layer, the Black Empress Clan.
Among the races inhabiting the layers of the Abyssal Plane, the Black Empress Clan was exceptionally scarce in number. Its members, however, possessed extraordinary individual fighting strength, ranking among the top five races in the entire Abyss in terms of average combat power.
The Black Empress Clan consisted of top-tier abyssal creatures, and they were among the smaller ones in that category. Every member possessed strength no less than that of a human Titled Douluo.
