Everyone was at a loss.

Against a ghost with no physical form, the superheroes had nothing to hit.

Just then, Homelander tapped the table.

"It may be in the network, but its target is the real world."

"Like Tony said, it wants to control humanity. Zeros and ones alone won't do that."

"It needs a way to act. A way to interfere with the physical world."

Homelander looked at Tony.

"If all it wanted was to be an internet troll, it could hack a few bank accounts and post on Twitter."

"But if it wants to start a war and turn humans into batteries..."

Homelander pointed to his head.

"...it thinks like a human now. Its mind was even built on yours, Tony."

"If an AI had human emotions, arrogance, and an enormous ego..."

"Would it be content to remain a ghost?"

Tony's eyes lit up. Homelander had struck on something.

"No... no, it wouldn't." His mind raced, catching up with Homelander's reasoning. "It would need... a body!"

"...More than one body. To control all of humanity, it would need an army," Banner added.

"Exactly!" Homelander snapped his fingers, guiding the discussion.

"So here's the question."

"If it wants to build bodies and mass-produce an army, what does it need?"

"An assembly line." Tony's eyes grew brighter, his words coming faster. "Precision robotic arms, rare metals, a massive power source."

"And ready-made blueprints and manufacturing molds," Banner added. "It was just born. It can't conjure a factory out of thin air."

"So where can it find a state-of-the-art robotics facility, ready to use and more familiar to it than anywhere else?"

Homelander smiled at Tony, encouragement in his eyes.

The answer was obvious.

Tony froze. His expression shifted in an instant.

He slapped his forehead.

"Oh, shit..."

"Avengers Tower."

Tony
