He might have been arrogant and conceited, perhaps even looked down on everyone else, but he truly deserved to be called a hero.
Saiki had long since wanted to leave. Taking Shen He with him, he vanished in an instant.
"Wow, JARVIS, did you find anything?" Tony exclaimed in amazement.
"Nothing at all, sir. They seemed to have simply disappeared."
The red steel figure flew upward, but first stopped by a milk tea shop to pick up some desserts before landing gracefully on the rooftop.
"I don't really like him." Saiki Kusuo remained expressionless.
"That's normal. He's the kind of flashy guy who wants to show off every talent he has."
Shen He shrugged. Saiki Kusuo disliked attention, while Tony was never short on it.
"Hey, want some? Honestly, I just got back from the hearing, and I'm a little hungry." Tony set the box of desserts beside him, picked one up, and stuffed it into his mouth. "How did you save that person just now? Superpowers? Or something else? I've never heard of someone with brain damage recovering that quickly."
"We can't save you, Tony." Shen He's expression was serious.
Tony froze.
Then the corners of his mouth twitched, and he gave an awkward laugh.
"I'm Tony Stark! Iron Man! Why would I need anyone to save me?"
"Your condition is very bad." Saiki's voice suddenly sounded in Tony's mind. "If you keep using the energy source in your chest, you'll have, at most, a few months left to live."
"Oh, God." Tony clutched his head. "What was that, telepathy? I hate people getting into my head, especially men."
"Haha, you'll get used to it."
Shen He went along with Tony's awkward attempt to change the subject.
Of course, he could have told Tony how to save himself, but Shen He had no intention of doing that.
Because this was Iron Man's trial.
Only after being lost, going mad, and finding release would this middle-aged man with billions in wealth truly become the hero who protected Earth: Iron Man.
"I have an idea." Tony subconsciously reached for his waist, only to realize he was wearing armor and had no business cards. "Well, I wonder if you two would be interested in working for Stark Industries. The pay would definitely satisfy you. My CEO might need some exceptional bodyguards."
"If I ever run out of money, I will." Shen He shrugged.
If he had not obtained the Servant Summoning System and summoned Saiki Kusuo, then making a living at Stark Industries might have been a good choice.
But now, his horizons had long since surpassed those of ordinary people.
After all, being transported into a world where he knew the plot and characters would inevitably give him a certain sense of superiority.
"Fine, you should know where to find me. That's right, just watch TV." Tony put his mask back on.
They were merely two people with unusual abilities. Since they could not solve his palladium poisoning and were unwilling to become his employees, a casual chat was enough.
Shen He glanced at the person Saiki Kusuo was carrying, thought for a moment, and called out to Tony, who was about to fly away.
"Could you help us call Agent Coulson? I know you have his contact information."
