"Well, there you have it." Shen He turned around and continued making the coffee pudding. "One day, you'll be able to control your abilities perfectly. That's what I promised you, so please cherish the feelings of ordinary people."
Saiki Kusuo remained silent.
No one had ever said anything like that to him before.
But that was only natural. As the protagonist of a gag manga, there wasn't a single normal person around him. Besides, Saiki Kusuo had always done his best to hide the fact that he possessed psychic powers.
"All done. Give it a try." Shen He handed over a cup of coffee pudding. "They actually have rapid-chilling equipment here, so it should taste pretty good."
Saiki Kusuo snapped out of his thoughts and accepted the cup under Shen He's expectant gaze, then happily took a bite.
"Mmm..."
His eyes widened slightly.
"It's delicious! Even better than the 2,950-yen coffee pudding."
"Uh..."
Shen He glanced at the world-class ingredients placed nearby.
Forget it. As long as it tasted good.
"I'll make some more for you to take back." Shen He turned around and continued working. "Oh, right. The dungeon reset time is one in the morning every day. You still have school, so you can decide when to run the dungeons. Also, unless it's an emergency, I'll notify you before summoning you, so you don't suddenly disappear in front of a crowd..."
He went on and on about various things, all of them essentially considerations for Saiki Kusuo.
Shen He had already begun to settle into and adapt to his role as a Master.
"No problem."
In the end, Saiki Kusuo carried a bag full of coffee pudding and followed the instructions in his mind to request a return.
A prompt also appeared on the system's virtual interface that Shen He had opened. He waved, approved it, and the entire kitchen was left with only him.
Such a huge house, yet it felt so empty...
"JARVIS." Shen He returned to his room.
"Guest, what can I do for you?"
The artificial intelligence JARVIS's voice sounded throughout the room.
As Tony's residence, this place was naturally far more than it appeared on the surface. It concealed all manner of advanced technology, and the intelligent butler JARVIS could monitor every corner of the house at all times.
That was also why Tony had felt comfortable letting Shen He stay here.
"I want to search for some things online. Can you help me?"
"Certainly, guest."
After hearing the reply, Shen He's gaze flickered slightly.
First, he needed to figure out which Marvel Universe this was.
Marvel, the major IP from his old world, had one of its most important settings in its countless parallel universes. Movies, comics, and animation all had different plots and even different worldviews.
