Snakehead's Thoughts

A helicopter descended. As soon as Pierce, Scarlet Witch, and Snakehead climbed aboard, two rocket thrusters extended from its underside.

As the thrusters gradually powered up, the rotor blades overhead retracted, transforming the helicopter into a high-speed fighter.

Several other helicopters followed it away.

At that moment, a single rocket would have been enough to wipe out everyone inside Super Prison.

But no one had any attention to spare for attacking General Ross.

Hydra soldiers who failed to dodge in time had their limbs blasted off, some even torn in half.

The survivors were about to fight back when the Quinjet dropped several bombs.

Flames instantly soared from the warships.

Then the second fighter arrived.

Hill, Falcon, Agent Kate, and the others had arrived.

Two warships against two fighters.

Had this been an ordinary navy facing an ordinary air force, the warships would at least have been able to defend themselves, even if they could not shoot down the fighters.

But against S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fighters, their technology was several tiers behind.

Before long, the warships were sunk.

Not a single Hydra soldier left aboard survived.

Only after confirming the area was secure did Nick Fury hover the Quinjet above the prison and shout through the opening.
