Wanda's Fate

Apocalypse said, "Your creations may have some fateful entanglement with her. I brought them here to take a look."

In the original story, Vision and Scarlet Witch had been a couple, deeply in love.

After Vision died, Scarlet Witch lost control and drew the entire town of Westview into her illusion, seeking comfort within it.

She not only created Vision, but even created two children and her deceased brother, Quicksilver.

Thinking it over carefully, Wanda's fate had truly been extraordinarily tragic.

When she was young, she witnessed her parents being blown to death by a shell right before her eyes. For children, that was a lifetime of pain. No wonder they hated Stark Industries so much.

If the second shell had not been a dud, the twin siblings might not have survived either.

When they grew a little older and gained superpowers, they were still controlled by Hydra, reduced to test subjects and thugs.

Later, after learning of Ultron's plan to exterminate humanity, they resolutely rebelled. In the end, however, her brother Quicksilver died in a hail of gunfire.

The two were twins, their minds linked. The moment Quicksilver died, Wanda sensed it.

What she later said to Ultron showed just how devastated she had been:

"I just died once. Do you know what that feels like?"

Then Vision was born, and when the two met, they had finally found love of their own.

But not long after, Vision was wounded by Thanos's four henchmen.

They fled to Wakanda, hoping to remove the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead, but there was not enough time.

In the end, she had no choice but to kill her beloved with her own hands, all to keep Thanos from obtaining the Mind Stone.

How cruel was that to a girl?
