The moment Thor heard that, he panicked. With a swing of his hammer, he vanished from the spot.

"Your Majesty, we'll talk later." Apocalypse hurriedly said goodbye.

Sif gave a hurried bow and followed them out.

Bifrost.

At that moment, the Bifrost shone brilliantly. Inside the translucent crystals, countless streams of energy surged continuously toward the Rainbow Control Room.

The circular, pointer-like device in the Rainbow Control Room fired out an intense beam of light, crossing Asgard's Cosmic Sea and vanishing into the dark void of space.

Its energy level was ten thousand times stronger than during teleportation.

There was no need to guess. This Prismatic Divine Light had to be aimed at the Frost Giants' lair—Jotunheim.

The Prismatic Divine Light could be strong or weak. Properly controlled, it could create a Bifrost, teleporting people anywhere in the universe.

But amplified ten thousandfold, anyone entering it would be torn to pieces. It was no longer a teleportation passage, but a passage of death.

Over on Jotunheim, divine light suddenly descended from above and struck the Frost Giants' temple directly. Mountains crumbled and the earth split apart!

As more and more energy poured into the Prismatic Divine Light, the crust was constantly overturned. If it was not stopped, it would pierce the crust and ignite the planetary core.

When that happened, all of Jotunheim would explode into fragments like a balloon.

"Loki! What the hell are you doing?" Thor demanded angrily.

Loki said, "What am I doing? I'm proving to Father that I'm the one worthy of being his son! I saved his life and destroyed the vile race of Frost Giants. From now on, there'll be no more need to worry about war between the two realms."

"You're being far too reckless. We have no right to decide whether an entire race lives or dies. Stop this immediately."

Back on Earth, Thor had been willing to sacrifice himself for ordinary humans. How could he possibly accept the destruction of an entire race now?

"Hahahaha, it's already too late to stop. My brother, just sit back and enjoy the show."

Thor flew into a rage and fired a bolt of lightning straight at Loki.

Where the lightning passed, Loki vanished. It had been an illusion.

The real Loki suddenly appeared behind Thor. Divine light shot from his scepter, nearly knocking Thor off the Bifrost.

With a flick of his hand, Thor hurled Thor's Hammer. But when it struck Loki, he found that it had become an illusion again.

Thor did not want to keep wasting time with him. He simply charged straight for the Rainbow Control Room, only for Loki to ambush him halfway there, leaving him unable to break free.

"Tang, go to the control room and pull out the Guardian Sword."

"Okay!"

Apocalypse charged straight toward the control room.

Suddenly, Loki appeared in front of Apocalypse, raised his scepter, and thrust it directly at him.

Without even thinking, Apocalypse suddenly sprouted what seemed like eight arms. He swung wildly in every direction, above, below, left, right, front, and back.

For a moment, afterimages filled the air. Other than the two legs planted on the ground, his entire upper body was nothing but arms!

Suddenly, one of his sideward-swinging hands tightened around something solid.

The real Loki fell out of thin air and skidded dozens of meters away. His face twisted in agony, and a dent had already formed in his chest.

Trying to play illusions in front of me? I'll beat you to death!

Apocalypse had no time to keep pursuing Loki. He let him go and rushed toward the Rainbow Control Room.

At that moment, the Rainbow Control Room was dazzlingly bright, with massive amounts of golden divine light pouring out.

Even with his eyes closed, the divine light seeped through his eyelids and stabbed at his eyes, giving him the illusion that he was about to go blind.

Apocalypse tried to charge inside, only to find that he simply could not get in.

Apocalypse raised both hands in front of him and pushed forward with all his strength, advancing step by step.

The enormous pillar of light slowly rose from the plane of the Cosmic Sea.

Thor became frantic!

His brother had spent his entire life on Earth and had never even gone into space. He had no basic astronomical knowledge.

On Earth, the ground was solid and above it was empty space. Normally, ceremonial guns and cannons could fire upward without hitting anything.

But in the universe, there was no distinction between sky and ground. In every direction, there were galaxies.

And Asgard was not a planet, but an enormous, strange flat continent, which gave Apocalypse an even more misleading impression.

Moreover, Apocalypse did not understand the properties of the Bifrost.

Rainbow Light could cross countless stretches of space and time. Unless it encountered something solid, it would never dissipate.

Such intense divine light could only be blocked by an object at least planetary in scale.

By lifting it like this, Apocalypse was merely redirecting the energy meant to destroy Jotunheim toward some unlucky planet somewhere in the universe.

As the Rainbow Pointer was raised, on Jotunheim's distant surface, the divine light slowly swept across the continent, leaving behind a bottomless grand canyon.

Then the divine light moved off Jotunheim and sliced toward the void of space. Wherever it passed, space twisted and stars vanished.

Who knew how many distant, unknown planets suffered this undeserved disaster!

Loki stood in the distance, staring at Apocalypse with a cold smile on his lips.

Thor no longer had time to fight Loki. He waved his hands frantically and shouted, "Tang, don't push it!!!"

Seeing Thor's gestures, Apocalypse thought Thor was telling him to try harder. He shouted back, "Come help me! I can't lift it any higher."

Unfortunately, beneath the massive humming of the spherical device, neither of them could hear the other.

Thor spun his hammer, intending to fly over and stop Apocalypse.

But on second thought, as long as the Rainbow Light did not stop firing, going over would be useless. As long as it continued shooting into the universe, more planets would still be doomed.

With that thought, Thor raised his hammer high. He had thought of the only solution!

Bang!

Thor's Hammer smashed fiercely into the Bifrost.

Apocalypse panicked. Was Thor an idiot? I've already changed the plot, so why are you still smashing the Bifrost?

There was still a beautiful wife waiting for me on Earth, along with so many things I needed to do. I didn't want to be trapped in Asgard for years.

Could Thor think I had not pushed it high enough? Then I'd just have to try harder.

Apocalypse roared, "Idiot, don't smash it!!"

Unfortunately, Thor could not hear him. Instead, he saw the light pointer move again through the cosmic void and became even more anxious.

At last, this argument neither side could hear ended with Thor's victory.
