Cui Ciyou brought Sylphy to the teaching area.
As always, she nestled close against him.
Her little head would even lean unconsciously against his arm, like a kitten seeking shelter and warmth.

Just then, Zenith brought Rudeus over as well.

At the sight of Sylphy pressed close to Cui Ciyou, a flicker of some indescribably complicated emotion seemed to cross his eyes.
But he quickly returned to his "well-behaved, sensible" demeanor, greeted Roxy respectfully, and sat down properly on the other side.
Roxy taught patiently and thoroughly.
She first reviewed yesterday's "magic theory."
Then she delved into the details of the Magic Flow and construction techniques for "Water Bullet," an "Intermediate Water Magic" spell.
(In a little over three months, Sylphy had already learned quite a few beginner spells, such as the beginner water spell "Water Ball.")
Rudeus continued to display astonishing talent. He grasped almost every point Roxy explained with the slightest hint and could even apply what he learned to other situations, earning repeated nods of praise from her.
He could hardly conceal his smug expression and deliberately puffed out his little chest, seemingly eager to attract more attention.
Sylphy, by contrast, struggled somewhat.
