Roxy spoke of what had once been her ideal type.
But certain scenes surfaced in her mind:
...Ciyou, though his expression was sometimes as cold as ice, the helplessness he occasionally showed, or that slight embarrassment when Lilia teased him-he really was so cute.
And...when he kissed away my tears last time, that instant of panic-did that count as a "first kiss"?...
That fresh, boyish innocence...his face really did look like a child's...
And he really was tall. Standing beside him always gave me this inexplicable sense of security...
Like in Roa, when he charged into that abandoned tower without hesitation and caught the sword thrust at Alice with his bare hand...though it wasn't for me, that resolve and...the way he threw himself into danger really...did seem heroic...
And that time we discussed "Healing Magic," when I watched him cut his own body with his sword without hesitation, my heart hurt so much. I was so upset, so angry!
...Rescue? Though it wasn't in a labyrinth, Ciyou really has saved me many times.
He hired me when Philip rejected me and I was at my lowest; when his excellence made me feel inferior and I wanted to leave, he used that...domineering approach to force me to stay...though his methods were strange, that...did count as saving me, right?
From falling into loneliness again and...perhaps making the wrong decision...supporting each other?
Hmm...we do often discuss "magic" together. Though most of the time, Ciyou is the one "instructing" me...
The "magic model" theory Ciyou proposed, and the "Blue Stream Blade" he created...the blue "Roxy's Blade," really!
That...also counts, in a sense, as "fighting side by side" and "working together," doesn't it?
Though it wasn't in a labyrinth...
And there's the ring Ciyou's mother left him.
*Hmph!...I've already learned what a wedding ring means
