CP0 Director Takes Action!

After all, they were CP0 members. Their physical skills were formidable, and they were incredibly fast. Before long, Tailed Fox and Night Hawk had already sprinted far ahead!

However, Ian was no slower. He kept chasing behind them, closing the distance bit by bit!

"Thunder Roar Cannon!" Ian sneered, spreading his five fingers and firing a bolt of lightning.

"Keep going and report the situation to the captain!" Night Hawk fell a step behind. Sensing the attack from behind with Observation Haki, he called out to Tailed Fox.

He turned and swept out a Tempest Kick, colliding with Ian's Thunder Roar Cannon!

"Boom!"

The two attacks collided, instantly kicking up a shockwave that swept through the surrounding area!

"Finger Pistol: Feathered Plumes!" Night Hawk entered his human-beast form, spreading the wings on his back and sweeping out feather-like arrows that bombarded Ian indiscriminately!

"Cheap tricks!" Ian's speed did not slow in the slightest. Hyorinmaru flashed in his hand, cutting down every incoming feather arrow. Then he raised his sword and unleashed a magnificent slash through the air!

The slash was incomparably swift and covered an enormous area, making it almost impossible to evade!

"Ice Dragon Ian... What a terrifying slash! Iron Body: Steel!" Night Hawk's expression darkened abruptly. He planted his legs into the ground and crossed his arms, his wings wrapping around his body. Armament Haki coated him as he used the Six Powers' Iron Body!

With a boom, Ian's slash struck Night Hawk head-on, driving him backward as his legs carved a long trench into the ground!

"Hah!" Night Hawk's muscles bulged as he desperately blocked Ian's slash. His arms and wings suddenly spread wide, forcibly knocking Ian's slash into the sky, where it shot upward and cleaved apart the clouds!

"Cough, cough..." Night Hawk spat blood. Deep bloody wounds had appeared on his arms and wings, and his gaze toward Ian was filled with deep apprehension.

This guy was too strong. It was merely a casual slash from him, yet Night Hawk had needed all his strength just to barely withstand it!

"You blocked it? You've got some skill!" Ian merely sneered. He spread the fingers of his left hand as light flickered and lightning gathered once more. A terrifying aura erupted from him. "Flying Dragon Thief-Shaking Heaven Thunder Cannon!"

With a boom, terrifying lightning shot forward like a laser. The overwhelming force of it made Night Hawk tremble with fear!

But he could not dodge, because Ian's attack was aimed at both him and Tailed Fox behind him!

He could only take it head-on!

"Tempest Kick: Hawk Strike!" Night Hawk shouted. His right leg lifted high like a scorpion's tail before sweeping forward. A wind blade over a hundred meters long formed and charged out like a divine eagle spreading its wings!

The two attacks drew closer before finally colliding like sparks striking the earth!

"Rumble!"

An even more terrifying blast of sound erupted. The ground shattered inch by inch, while nearby buildings continuously collapsed under the shockwaves produced by the collision!

The air exploded, and rings of air ripples spread outward, ravaging the surroundings!

"Six Rods Prison of Light!" Ian shot down from the sky. With a point of his fingers, six beams of light appeared out of thin air around Night Hawk, binding him in place.

"Let's see you run now." Ian gave a cold smile and raised Hyorinmaru high. Sword intent erupted as frigid air surged forth, and the surrounding temperature plummeted to an extreme!

"Ice Dragon Tailspin!" With one slash, an Ice Dragon soared forth. Wherever it passed, the cold froze everything!

"Damn it!" Night Hawk's expression changed instantly. Armament Haki erupted from his body as he forcibly broke free from the Six Rods Prison of Light. But that brief delay left him with no time to dodge, and the Ice Dragon struck him directly!

With a boom, the Ice Dragon crashed down, sending shattered ice flying everywhere. Frigid energy surged forth, and with cracking sounds, ice spread upward from Night Hawk's feet, trying to freeze his entire body!

I can't let myself be frozen, or it's all over! Night Hawk gritted his teeth. He knew he could not simply wait for death. If the ice froze him solid, he would truly have no room left to resist!

He could no longer care about the expenditure. He mobilized the Armament Haki in his body to coat his entire form, resisting the cold that was invading him.

His wings spread behind him and beat powerfully. A Zoan's physique was indeed incredibly strong. With an explosive burst of force, he broke free from the ice around his feet and shot straight into the sky!

But when Night Hawk looked up, his soul nearly fled his body!

Ian had appeared above him at some unknown point, sneering as he slashed downward!

"Iron Body: Steel!" It was already too late to evade, so he could only endure it head-on. He activated the Six Powers' Iron Body, turning his body as hard as steel, then covered himself in Armament Haki to strengthen his defense!

"Iron Body? Heh. It might be useful against people weaker than you, but against me, do you really think it will work?" Ian only sneered. His sword was coated in Armament Haki as he brought down an unstoppable slash, intending to kill Night Hawk outright!

"Hm? Who's there?" However, Observation Haki suddenly warned him of approaching danger. Someone was charging in from afar at tremendous speed. If Ian did not withdraw his sword, he would likely be struck by that person's incoming attack!

Without hesitation, Ian immediately pulled back his sword, twisted his body, and slashed toward that direction!

The newcomer came charging through the air, both hands held in a punching stance as a powerful aura erupted from him. He shouted, "Six Powers Secret Art: Staff Gun!"

"Boom!!!"

Like needle against awl, like sparks crashing into the earth, their attacks violently collided in the next instant!

After a terrifying boom, waves of shockwaves radiated outward from the two of them. The air itself seemed unable to withstand the clash of their power, rippling as it spread outward!

Neither yielded, and they remained locked in midair. Their Armament Haki clashed, producing terrifying impacts that swept outward!

"Hmph!" Ian's expression turned cold. Conqueror's Haki descended from him like crushing pressure and wrapped around Hyorinmaru in his hand!

With the enhancement of Conqueror's Haki, Ian's attack became even more ferocious. Taking advantage of the instant when the Conqueror's Haki struck at his opponent's mind, he suddenly exerted force and pressed him down, smashing him into the ground from the sky like a meteor!

"Rumble!"

An enormous crater suddenly appeared. It was as though an earthquake had struck, and that entire area began to shake. The ground shattered and split apart, with dense cracks spreading outward from the crater like a spiderweb for an unknown distance!

Buildings not far away were also caught in the aftermath, continuously collapsing with rumbling crashes!

Ian descended from the sky and looked toward the crater, surprise appearing in his eyes. "Not dead? No, even his aura hasn't weakened. Looks like a truly important figure has arrived."

Inside the crater, a figure climbed up from the ground, leapt out, and landed on the surface. When he looked at Ian, a trace of wariness also appeared in his eyes. "Ice Dragon Ian, you truly deserve to be a powerhouse with a bounty of 1.1 billion Beli. You actually managed to suppress my attack?"

Ian said, "Who are you?"

The man dusted himself off and said, "The director of CP0, Owl!"
