Background / History

Kagami was selected alongside Uchiha Ying as the Uchiha Clan's representatives for Tobirama Senju's disciple selection. Both succeeded, joining Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzō Shimura, Homura Mitokado, Koharu Utatane, and Torifu Akimichi under Tobirama's instruction. 5

As Tobirama's disciple, Kagami trained in Uchiha techniques with Ying and became his particularly close fellow clansman. Their service to Konoha eventually elevated both of them to ANBU squad captains. 5 9 10
