The True Tenseigan... Is This the Princess of the Byakugan?

In the original story, Sasuke Uchiha's Six-Tomoe Rinnegan was actually a combination of the Rinnegan's power and the Mangekyō Sharingan's.

But that combination was not a complete fusion. The two powers coexisted in a divided state.

Uchiha Ensei clearly remembered a close-up in the original story: when Sasuke Uchiha exhausted his Mangekyō's ocular power, his Six-Tomoe Rinnegan reverted to an ordinary Rinnegan. (From the spin-off manga.)
