He was a man with graying hair, certainly no longer young, yet he possessed a vigor that seemed out of place for his age.

"Is this Mr. Hall?" Major set down his pen and sat perfectly upright.

"Prime Minister, this is Mr. Dumbledore's disciple, Eli Hall." Kingsley was wearing a different suit than usual today, making him look more like a capable office clerk.

Eli kept smiling. It would be impossible to say he was not nervous at all. After all, he was facing the leader of a nation. Compared to Fudge, the Minister for Magic, this man exerted far more pressure.

Muggles were different from Wizards. They had no magic and relied entirely on tools created through intellect and knowledge to transform their lives.

Unlike carefree Wizards, Muggles had to approach those cold, unfeeling machines with sufficient rigor.

"Hello, Prime Minister. I'm Eli Hall."

Major rose to his feet, just as upright as he had been while seated. "Forgive my rudeness, but when Kingsley said a Wizard would be sent to strengthen the defenses, I had imagined an old-fashioned Wizard in a bowler hat."

His face wore a kindness somewhat unsuited to his position.

"Mr. Dumbledore is sufficiently cautious. Mr. Hall's abilities are beyond what our Aurors can contend with. If we need a Wizard to set up large-scale magic, he may be more suitable," Kingsley said in a deep voice, neither obsequious nor overbearing.

Major smiled and nodded at Kingsley, then turned his gaze to Eli. "I have great faith in Mr. Dumbledore, so I'll have to trouble Mr. Hall. You may do as you please here. Even if I wanted to interfere, I wouldn't know how."
