Chen Qingling helped Zhu Zhuqing end her engagement to Dai Mubai and withdraw from the Star Luo imperial power struggle, then set out with her for Sea God Island in search of a lead about her mother. Their journey brought them to a massacred village and a Deep Sea Demon Whale attack, which Chen Shenge stopped before the Sea God noticed his strength.

• Tang Chen announced that he would visit Sea God Island, while Qian Renxue investigated Chen Qingling’s unknown mother.
• Chen Qingling reunited with Zhu Zhuqing in Suotuo City, where she and Zhu Zhuqing crippled Tang San and Dai Mubai after Dai Mubai insulted Zhu Zhuqing.
• Chen Qingling helped Zhu Zhuqing gain a third Soul Ring and absorb the Narcissus Jade Muscle Bone, then traveled with her toward the Star Luo Empire.

Chen Qingling faced the Sea God’s trials on Sea God Island, learned that Gu Yue Na was her mother, and rejected the Sea God’s inheritance. After Chen Shenge intervened against the Sea God, Qingling left the island with Zhu Zhuqing and turned toward Suotuo City as Tang San pursued a dangerous plan.

• Chen Qingling and Zhu Zhuqing reached Sea God Island, where Purple Pearl confessed her feelings for Qingling before agreeing to guide them.
• Chen Qingling received the Sea God Nine Trials, but Bo Saixi denied being her mother and the Sea God could not uncover her origins.
