Background / History

The Azure Wood Puppet is a Myriad Realms Roulette reward originating from a fantasy cultivation world. Originally possessing Early Qi Refining-stage strength, it was weakened by localization but remained comparable to a Junior Soul Elder. Ning Chen received it before entering Barak Kingdom’s Soul Hunting Forest for his first soul-ring hunt. 7

Ning Chen concealed its jade-green body beneath a hooded cloak and mask, then used its Soul Elder-level pressure to pass the forest guards. He supplied it with Soul Power through the Nine Yang Divine Skill, which could fully recharge the puppet in approximately fifteen minutes. 7

During the hunt for the Rock Crystal Beast, the puppet approached silently, threw eight Thunderfire Thunderbolt Bombs, and followed the bombardment with close-range attacks. It defeated the severely injured seven-hundred-year soul beast, transported its body to a secluded location, and guarded Ning Chen during his first Soul Ring absorption. 8 9

The puppet later accompanied Ning Chen into the Star Dou Great Forest. It served as an advance scout during the search for a second Soul Ring, helped block the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscomb Snake’s escape, and stood guard while Ning Chen absorbed the snake’s Millennium Soul Ring. 13 14 15
