A challenges Keiko to a public duel after Kumogakure’s strong tournament showing. He seeks to display his village’s power and test Sunagakure’s leader, but Keiko survives his escalating Nukite attacks, redirects the lethal final strike, and leaves A with a dislocated right arm. A declares Keiko the victor. 148 149

Earth–Lightning Front

A takes personal command of five thousand Kumogakure troops against Iwagakure while ordering Yue Shen Gongyi to return home and guard against a possible Konoha attack. He rejects additional elite or Sunagakure assistance because outside involvement could complicate any conquest of Iwagakure. 214

Later, he joins Keiko in an ambush that devastates a Hidden Stone formation. Together they kill Guanghuo with the Double Lightning Lariat, while Keiko prepares traps for Kitsuchi’s pursuing force. 223

Battle Against Madara

A and Keiko coordinate against Madara at the Bottomless Cave. A uses One-Finger Nukite to break Susanoo’s skeletal claw and crack its chakra shell, creating an opening for Keiko’s Wind-Magnet Rasenshuriken and Iron Sand assault. Madara’s Sharingan disrupts A’s mind and forces him to withdraw from the immediate fight. 230

Afterward, A visits Sunagakure as part of a wider succession strategy for Yue Shen Gongyi. His familiarity with Keiko reflects the depth of the Kumogakure–Sunagakure partnership. 232
