Two more days passed, and Riu had fully recovered from the exhaustion of the fierce battle. He returned to the Kamui Dimension.

Kamui's Space-Time Dimension was incomparably vast. Objects transported there would be placed in different locations depending on the time at which they were sent.

Take people, for example. Unless they were transported in succession at roughly the same time, they generally would not encounter one another.

As the master of this Space-Time Dimension, Riu could naturally appear anywhere at will.

He arrived before the Eight-Tails.

"Yo, long time no see~" Riu said teasingly.

When enemies met, their eyes burned with hatred.

Boom! The Eight-Tails saw Riu appear before it and immediately fired a Tailed Beast Bomb without a word.

Riu said, "Even without reviving the Ten-Tails, this world will still be destroyed. One day, the Heavenly People will descend. To stand against them, the Ten-Tails' power is essential. So, Eight-Tails, submit beneath my eyes!"

Clap! Riu brought his hands together, and his Mangekyo Sharingan released astonishing ocular power.

Kamui Seal: Eight-Pillar Beast Prison!

Rumble! Eight of the cubical structures floating within the Kamui Dimension drifted over, changed shape, and became eight towering pillars that trapped the Eight-Tails in their midst!

Riu changed his hand seal and raised two fingers. "Seal the tails!"

A Chakra chain emerged from each of the eight pillars, binding the Eight-Tails' eight tails.

"How could I let someone like you succeed?!" The Eight-Tails opened its mouth, and a massive Tailed Beast Bomb swelled above it.

"Don't be so hasty. I'll put a collar on you right now!"

As Riu spoke, he changed his hand seal again. "Seal the head!"

Slash!

The cube beneath the Eight-Tails suddenly produced a chain that looped around its neck.

Crack... The swelling Tailed Beast Bomb stopped, cracked apart, and scattered as an empty shell.

The Eight-Tails' power had been completely suppressed.

Whoosh! Riu took out the Summoning Contract scroll and spread it open.

Crackle! Lightning Release Chakra covered his palm and transformed into a Chidori Sharp Spear, slicing open the Eight-Tails' chest. Blood drifted through the air and fell onto the scroll.

Riu then bit open his own palm, dipped it in blood, and pressed his handprint onto the scroll. Whoosh! The scroll closed in one smooth motion.

With this Summoning Contract, he could use the Summoning Jutsu to call forth the Eight-Tails for battle. And with the previous Kamui Seal in place, the Eight-Tails would remain bound within this Kamui Dimension. Once the Summoning Jutsu ended, the Eight-Tails would automatically return to its position in the sealing formation within the Kamui Dimension.

Riu turned around, preparing to leave.

"Do you want to throw the Shinobi World into chaos?!" the Eight-Tails roared.

"So what..." Riu did not even turn his head.

The main theme of the Hokage script written by Kishimoto was love and peace. Riu had loved it dearly, but that had been as a spectator.

Now, he was a participant! The main theme of his script was war and freedom, and both of those rested on one major premise—power!

"One day, someone who inherits the Sage of Six Paths' will shall stop you!" the Eight-Tails said.

"Then I will surpass the Sage of Six Paths you speak of!" Riu's resounding words fell as he vanished into a Kamui vortex.

He returned to the outside world.

"Any plans?" Tobi sat atop the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path's head.

"Orochimaru's results are imminent. We're not going anywhere. We'll stay at our base and wait." Riu sat down on a stone bench.

In the open area, Yūhi Uzuki, dressed in a black skintight outfit, was sparring with the White Zetsus.

Resting his chin on his hand, Tobi said meaningfully, "These past two days, she seems to have adapted quite a bit. What exactly changed in her state of mind...?"

Riu smiled faintly but said nothing.
