Cultivation Characteristics
The Sea of Reincarnation Realm is attained when a cultivator forms a sea of vital energy within their dantian after reaching the peak of the Ninth Layer of the Blood-Shifting Realm. This breakthrough greatly increases a cultivator's strength and provides the cultivation foundation needed to use higher-level techniques and Intent more effectively. 18
Like the other major realms, it contains nine layers. The next major threshold is the Palace of Destiny Realm. 1
Among the million registered disciples of the Limitless Sacred Land, Sea of Reincarnation cultivators are exceptionally rare; fewer than five are noted during the outer-sect assessment. 8 12 Within the inner sect, however, Sea of Reincarnation cultivators are generally regarded as lower-ranking disciples, while Palace of Destiny cultivators form the sect's middle tier. 18 33

- Three-Layer Sword Intent and the Yellow Springs Heaven-Severing Sword Art enabled Lin Feng to defeat First-Layer Sea of Reincarnation cultivators before entering the realm himself. 12 13
- After entering the realm, Lin Feng's Seventh-Layer Sword Intent and perfected Heaven-Severing Fate-Reversing Slash allowed him to kill Palace of Destiny Realm opponents several layers above him. 29 30 31

The Ninth Layer is the final stage before the Palace of Destiny Realm. Lin Feng crossed this threshold during his battle with Xiao Yifeng, using the pressure of the Shadow Spider's poisonous bite to break through in combat. 36 42
His advancement marked a major change in how the inner sect viewed him: after defeating the ninetieth-ranked Prodigy Ranking disciple, Song Yiling and Mu Lingxue judged him to possess the aptitude to contend for one of the Ten Great Sequences. 42
