History

Early Interstellar Wars

In year 119, the Federation army pushed back to Quanrong Star and defeated the Quanrong Race. Searches of its sacrificial temples revealed that the Quanrong were servants of the Ross Race, which itself belonged to the hierarchy beneath Extraterrestrial Evil Gods. Humanity subsequently entered centuries of warfare. Following a citizen vote, the Omniscient Brain passed the resolution establishing November 1 as Great Disaster Day 1.

Early fleets and Mecha Pilots suffered heavily from mental Contamination, overwhelming the Federation’s mental hospitals. The discovery that Martial Will could resist this influence made martial arts central to its defensive system 2.

Internal Unrest and Aggressive Expansion

The Federation faced both Evil God Cult infiltration and a Rebel Army composed primarily of Biochemical Humans. Rebel forces received support from hostile extraterrestrial civilizations and parties within the Federation itself. During a deadlocked war with the Saiyabo Civilization over an Eternal Crystal Mine, the rebels planned an attack on Blue Star 79 160.

The ensuing unrest was suppressed with forces including orbital cannons. Xu Sanyang’s confrontation with the Gate School Master raised the question of collaboration between Federation insiders and Evil God Cults. The cooperation of normally hostile cults also suggested a common source behind the Evil Gods 172 173.

After the Moon God’s true body was slain, citizens and militant Councilors increasingly favored retaliation against Extraterrestrial Evil Gods. The Creator Sect’s activities nevertheless exposed gaps in the Federation’s knowledge: the Creator’s existence remained only a scientific hypothesis during Fang Xing’s early investigation 265.

War Against the Fire Luo Race

The Fire Luo Race, bordering Federation territory since Celestial Era 553, worshipped the dormant Fire of Chaos. Intelligence that it was preparing an invasion led the Supreme Council to approve a preemptive war intended to keep the battlefield inside the Fire Luo Star Cluster 390.

The campaign combined strikes on Eternal Crystal Mines with a plan to lure the Lord of Entropy and Laplace’s Demon, and potentially wound the Fire of Chaos. Heng Dong commanded the operation targeting the Eternal Crystal Mine region in the Vik Star System 391 392.

Years later, Heng Dong was killed by several Fire Luo Emperors. His death weakened the Blue Star University camp and increased pressure for its absorption into Saint Armor University. Fang Xing’s return reversed that situation: he killed the Fire Luo Great Emperor and the Fire of Chaos, defeated Saint Armor University’s Founding Principal, and stopped the proposed university consolidation 461 462 465.

The Federation subsequently promoted Fang Xing to Federation Elder and raised his authorization to its highest level. His inspection of the Supreme Academy of Sciences revealed that the Doomsday Hourglass predicted the Creator’s awakening within ten years 466.

Collapse and Reconstruction

After time resumed following the battle with the Creator, Federation citizens witnessed the universe beyond the Solar System disappearing. Fang Xing explained that he had defeated the Creator but could save only the Solar System. He offered to make its illusory inhabitants real and eventually allow them to leave his Inner World 496.

By the reconstruction period, the Federation had declined to the population of a single planet. Fang Xing arranged for the Blue Star faction to become publicly recognized as citizens of his ten-star-system territory while remaining beings of his Inner Universe. Nangong Xue and Liu Wei were appointed its leaders, with Zhang Chu assisting and tasked with building a habitable main planet named Blue Star 518.

Following the Zerg retreat, the Blue Star Alliance was established and the Starry Sky Civilization joined it. Human allied forces launched a counteroffensive, and the Blue Star Federation acquired territory taken from the Zerg as war spoils 678.

Government and Political Factions

Governing Institutions

Institution / Office Function
Supreme Council Restricts the supreme executive’s authority and votes on major policy. Its Chapter 390 session included 637 Councilors and all nine Executive Governors 331 390.
Nine Executive Governors Normally handle affairs when the Supreme Council is not convened 390.
Chief Executive Officer Qiao Ersi presents major proposals, negotiates compensation with powerful Professionals, and coordinates appointments and authorization changes 390 391 466.
Omniscient Brain Coordinates most production and operations, authenticates access, supervises Council votes, and calculates military deployment routes 84 280 390.
Federation Elders Fang Xing receives this title after his strength surpasses the Federation’s limits, together with the highest authorization level 466.

The Omniscient Brain is advertised as absolutely fair, just, and selfless. Fang Xing questions whether the people who designed its underlying logic can be equally impartial 84.

Political Factions

Faction Base or Position
Academy Faction Contains separate university camps, including Blue Star University, Saint Armor University, and Nine Swords Academy 331.
Deathmatch Faction Advocates immediate war against hostile Extraterrestrial Evil Gods 331.
Family Faction Centers on powerful families and financial oligarchs 331.
Escape Faction Emerges after the Creator’s existence is confirmed 331.
Coexistence Faction Also emerges after confirmation of the Creator 331.

Factions extend across military and political institutions and can nominate candidates for Chief Executive Officer. Membership and influence overlap: the Xu Family belongs to the Family Faction while retaining military influence and a voice in the Academy Faction 155 331.

Power and Political Status

Combat Standing Institutional Significance
Fourth Realm A martial artist can be certified as a Professional upon reaching the Courage Realm 48.
Sixth Realm Martial Path Golden Core experts and equivalent Professionals form part of the Federation’s backbone 204.
Eighth Realm Minimum combat-power requirement for an elected Councilor; strength alone does not guarantee election 331.
Ninth Realm Professionals receive Honorary Councilor status, with benefits largely comparable to elected Councilors 370.
Tenth Realm Professionals are major figures in their own right. Possessing equivalent combat power also prompts the Federation to provide significant appointments 370.
  • The Federation is said to have over 50,000 genuine Eighth Realm Professionals. The number above the Tenth Realm is a closely guarded secret 390.
  • Blue Star University’s support could supply the connections necessary for a Council election, but would require involvement in the Academy Faction 331.
  • Competition between camps intensifies when their leading experts weaken or die. Fang Xing and Xu Sanyang are described as sacrifices in the struggle following Ye Liuyun’s failed breakthrough 331.

Military and Professional System

Martial Arts

Federation martial arts emphasize techniques that low-realm practitioners can learn without first reaching the realms normally associated with their effects 26.

  • Accessible high-grade techniques: Second Realm martial artists can learn B-grade and A-Rank martial arts; Third Realm practitioners can begin S-Rank techniques 22 76.
  • Broad compatibility: Ability Users and Mecha Pilots can also cultivate martial arts to advance their personal evolution 155.
  • Largest profession: Martial artists outnumber Ability Users, Mecha Pilots, and Mind Masters combined, making martial arts the Federation’s commoner profession 216.
  • Documented ceiling: The established martial path ends at Ninth Realm Martial God. The Federation researches routes beyond it, but has not opened a proven continuation 155 277.
  • Cross-profession ranking: Ability Users, Mecha Pilots, Psychics, and other Professionals are commonly ranked by combat power equivalent to martial realms 204.

Imaginary Space Defense

  • Defensive lines: These obstruct Evil God projections, with larger and stronger beings generally finding it harder to enter human territory 17 280.
  • Mystic Realm restrictions: Enemy-created spaces often prohibit technology and restrict the realms of entrants, making personally powerful low-realm combatants essential 77.
  • Martial Will: Resists mental Contamination and, at exceptional strength, can oppose a Mystic Realm’s rules sufficiently to admit weapons or mecha 77.
  • Operational risk: Unchecked servants can spread across planets and overwhelm public security, forcing the Federation to contest these battlefields 77.

Mecha Forces

Mecha Path Capabilities / Limitations
Armored martial artists Eighth Realm Martial Saints can use suitable mecha to approach or reach Ninth Realm combat power; Martial God-Class mecha provide Tenth Realm power 262 391.
Dedicated Mecha Pilots Can merge with mecha and elevate the Light of the Soul to produce Eleventh Realm combat power 262.
Swarm / Group Mecha Multiple operators jointly control a machine. The Eight-Armed Evil Dragon Beast combines a Martial Saint and eight Great Vajras or comparable pilots for peak Ninth Realm output 260.
Biological Evil God Mecha Incorporate Evil God tissue and can use part of a Spawn’s Authority, but expose operators to spiritual and physical Contamination 340.
Spiritual Energy Mecha Require government service with unusually severe restrictions; draw on collective human mental and emotional power 260.

Mecha Pilots are the principal combatants in Main Universe warfare. High-level martial artists depend on top-tier mecha to confront the true bodies of Extraterrestrial Evil Gods 155.

Technology, Research, and Resources

Major Systems

  • Virtual Network: Supports libraries, simulated laboratories, combat arenas, and personal assistants derived from the Omniscient Brain. Access to information depends on clearance 120.
  • Evil God research: Studies enemy abilities and experiments with the blood, corpses, and bones of Evil Gods and their kin. Exposed abilities can potentially be understood and countered 92 126.
  • Supreme Academy of Sciences: Directed by Shi Qingquan; houses the Taboo Weapon Factory and the Doomsday Hourglass 466.
  • Research hazards: Trap mathematical conjectures associated with an Evil God have killed or driven mad many leading Federation mathematicians 92.

Strategic Resources

Resource Importance
Eternal Crystal Highly condensed Cosmic Energy used in advanced mecha, spacecraft, and ultimate weapons. Competition for its mines drives many Federation expansion wars 391.
Golden Core secret methods and Cosmic Yin-Yang Aura Restricted high-level resources used to secure the service of talented martial artists 160.
Spirit Refining Marrow Rare strategic resource associated with Martial Saint advancement; even sufficient Contribution Points may leave an applicant waiting in a long queue 292.
Antis Bird blood Produces a suppression factor that inhibits Evil God Kin regeneration and contributes to specialized ammunition and Evil God Mecha armor 260.
Evil God Spawn materials Valuable mecha-building resources subject to official verification and spoils distribution 318 340.

The Federation claims a share of rewards from kills supported by its defensive infrastructure. Results must normally be reported and verified before merits and spoils are distributed 318 326.

Civilian Life and Regulation

  • Currency and rewards: Star Dollars purchase basic supplies on Blue Star, while many other purchases require Merit Points or Contribution Points. Qualifying service can earn Federation-awarded property 117.
  • Legal adulthood: Fang Xing is recognized as an adult under Federal Law at nineteen 120.
  • Military service: Blue Star Federation citizens face military-service obligations 12.
  • Military mecha licensing: Ordinary citizens lack the right to operate genuine military-standard mecha. Authorized applicants require an Armor-Wearing Right, and each military unit has a serial number 261.
  • Weapons regulation: Civilian weapon versions are restricted, although collecting ordinary firearms is treated far more permissively than possessing military mecha 3 261.
  • Citizen rights: Fang Xing invokes Liu Wei’s freedom and rights as a Federation citizen during his visit to the Supreme Academy of Sciences 466.

Education and Corporate Patronage

Most education planets offer only martial artist programs. Hidden Dragon Star, Young Phoenix Star, and Young Unicorn Star specialize in training Natural Human elites, with near-universal advancement rates and strong access to prestigious universities 81.

Major corporations compete to sponsor promising students. Fang Xing receives competing offers from Green God Group, Shadow Dragon Group, and Giant God Corporation, illustrating how financial backing, political connections, and scarce advancement resources shape recruitment 100.
