Background
Fang Xing first finds the mantra on his Attribute Panel after handling a Dark Gold Cloth taken from the Young Bishop. The cloth carries Evil God contamination, and Fang Xing initially fears that the newly acquired art is a disguised means of altering its practitioner’s thoughts. He passes subsequent Evil God-aura tests, but remains uncertain whether his Attribute Panel removed the contamination or changed the art itself 94 95.
A weaker cloth fragment recovered from Bai Lianyi’s grave supplies the mantra’s applications and explanations. Fang Xing learns that its central technique, the Great Sun Furnace, advances by refining foreign spiritual forces and contamination. Because of the art’s unknown origin and potential influence on his will, he resolves to keep his Martial Will at least one major realm ahead of it 99.
Fang Xing later identifies the mantra’s source as the father god of the Burning Spawn, an Evil God that had already perished. He suspects that its continued growth and unusual strength stem from its incorporation into the Attribute Panel, but treats that explanation as a theory 385.
