Dugu Bo felt Bai Xiao's ill-intentioned gaze and could not help feeling a chill run down the back of his neck. He shuddered. "What are you up to, brat? Why is your look so strange?"

"I was thinking about how to detoxify you next!" Bai Xiao brushed him off.

When Dugu Bo saw that Bai Xiao had obtained a "failed" soul skill, he immediately felt that letting Bai Xiao detoxify him was not exactly safe.

What if the poison was cured, only for him to become a vegetable? What if the poison was cured and he became an ordinary person...

The Dragon Blood Factor was created when Bai Xiao used his Cell Martial Soul to extract Dragon Clan genes from several dragon-type soul beasts and continuously purify them, obtaining the genes of pureblooded Dragon Clan soul beasts. He then fused those genes into flesh, allowing it to produce pure dragon blood.

By injecting this pure Dragon Clan bloodline into Dugu Bo and the soul beasts, it would promote their own "evolution." During evolution, Dugu Bo and the soul beasts would erupt with immense life force. This life force would be transported through the "tubes," then regulated to ensure they could evolve perfectly.

Dugu Bo felt wave after wave of pain course through his body from the Dragon Clan bloodline. Tears of excitement surfaced on his aged face as he muttered words of gratitude to Bai Xiao. (That was what Bai Xiao imagined from seeing Dugu Bo's expression.)
