Dugu Bo felt Bai Xiao's ill-intentioned gaze and a chill ran down the back of his neck. He shuddered. "What are you up to, brat? Why are you looking at me so strangely?"

"I'm thinking about how to detoxify you next!" Bai Xiao answered perfunctorily.

When Dugu Bo saw that Bai Xiao had obtained a "failed" soul skill, he immediately felt that letting Bai Xiao detoxify him might not be very safe.

A lively young girl's voice rang out in Bai Xiao's mind. "Activating the Dragon Blood Factor. The Dragon Blood Factor has been released!"

The Dragon Blood Factor was created by Bai Xiao extracting Dragon Clan genes from certain dragon-type Soul Beasts through his Cell Martial Soul, continuously purifying them until he obtained the genes of pure-blooded Dragon Clan Soul Beasts, then merging those genes into flesh. Bai Xiao could make that flesh produce pure dragon blood.

By injecting this pure Dragon Clan Bloodline into Dugu Bo and the Soul Beasts' bodies, it would promote their own "evolution." During evolution, Dugu Bo and the Soul Beasts would erupt with tremendous life force. That life force would be transported through the "tubes," then regulated to ensure they could evolve perfectly.

Dugu Bo felt wave after wave of pain coursing through his body from the Dragon Clan Bloodline. Excited tears appeared on his old face as he muttered words of gratitude to Bai Xiao. Bai Xiao had imagined that part himself after seeing Dugu Bo's expression.
