Background

Bai Xiao arrived on Douluo Continent as a Blue Star transmigrator in a child’s body, without the original body’s memories. Before reaching Holy Soul Village, he survived as a homeless street child and depended heavily on An, an older girl who protected and supported him. His experiences with poverty, predatory Soul Masters, and Shen Yuan’s brutality shaped his later distrust of others 1 9 10.

He reached Holy Soul Village by falsely claiming that Soul Beast attacks had killed his Soul Master parents. Village Chief Jack adopted him, while Bai Xiao earned food and acceptance by telling villagers stories adapted from Blue Star, including a heavily altered Legend of the White Snake 1.
