Chiyo's Invitation

"A bunch of bastard seniors."

Uchiha Yuu covered his forehead speechlessly, stepped aside to draw a clear line between himself and them, then looked back at Pakura.

"Only the strong deserve to know my name, Miss Pakura."

Having satisfied his mischievous urge, Uchiha Yuu used the brief moment she was distracted to flicker behind her.

Pakura was likewise a genius of Sunagakure and possessed a special Kekkei Genkai. Yet the instant Uchiha Yuu closed in, she had not even seen how he got there.

He lightly patted her shoulder. He had no desire to leave behind a wonderful encounter in Sunagakure.

Women would only slow down his draw.

"Bastard!"

Having been toyed with, Pakura tried to throw a punch in retaliation, but the moment she moved, Uchiha Yuu dodged.

He stepped forward and struck Pakura in the abdomen.

"Bastard from Konoha, get lost!"

"Big Sis Pakura..."

"You Konoha people are really too much."

A group of brats surrounded him. Uchiha Yuu had no interest in getting tangled up with them, so he flickered back to his team.

Pakura was indeed a genius, but so was Uchiha Yuu. Moreover, his rate of growth surpassed that of ordinary shinobi. Even among Konoha's new generation, Uchiha Yuu was the strongest, leaving his companions in utter despair.

Inside a room in Sunagakure, Chiyo watched Pakura get taught a lesson without intervening. In the end, it was merely a fight between two children and would not affect the decisions of the great powers.

However, seeing the look in his eyes gave Chiyo more to ponder. She turned to Ebizo beside her and said:

"Konoha's new generation is growing stronger and stronger. The accompanying shinobi said that he is a medical ninja. He spends a great deal of time studying Medical Ninjutsu, yet he has trained his taijutsu to such perfection."

"Not to mention the way he is dressed..."

"He's from the Uchiha Clan, isn't he?"

Ebizo took a deep breath, clasped his hands behind his back, and surveyed the group of shinobi below before sighing.

No matter how strong he was, they could not make a move within the village. Besides, they were currently allies with Konoha, and Ebizo was more interested in another matter.

"Sister, how do you plan to develop medical ninja?"

After observing things along the way, he understood just how much medical ninja could help in the Shinobi World War. The initial investment might be enormous, but the eventual returns could greatly reduce shinobi casualties. Over time, the gap would become apparent.

"The Third Kazekage is troubled by it as well. We are very different from Konoha, so we can only use medicine to replace the role of medical ninja."

Chiyo had researched Medical Ninjutsu and investigated Tsunade as well. The prerequisite for Medical Ninjutsu was Yang Release Chakra. This kind of chakra could not be detected, was extremely rare, and could not be acquired through training.

Below, Uchiha Yuu was being driven to distraction by the group of brats around him. Yet he could not act against them, so he simply remained with the team. Pakura had even declared that she would definitely defeat him.

"What an irritating bunch of brats. I'm just passing through, not settling down here. Do you really have to swarm around me?"

A middle-aged woman walked out of the alley and said with a hint of admiration, "You're a brat yourself, one from the Uchiha Clan."

Her appearance stunned the Jonin present, because the person before them was Chiyo!

Knowing Chiyo's great reputation, no one dared disregard the powerhouse before them. Even if all of them joined forces, they might not be able to defeat her.

Aburame Hanfeng, who had been watching the show from the back, immediately stepped in front of Uchiha Yuu and faced her directly.

"So it's Lady Chiyo. A group of children are just fooling around here. There was no need to bring out a powerhouse like you, was there?"

The children who had been shouting moments ago immediately wilted upon seeing Chiyo. Pakura gave Yuu the middle finger and promptly left the scene.

She had no desire to be taken in hand by Chiyo and forced into another grueling round of training.

"Of course it isn't over such a trivial matter."

Chiyo's gaze shifted from Aburame Hanfeng to Uchiha Yuu. With clear appreciation in her voice, she said:

"A strong member of Konoha's new generation. I heard you are a medical ninja. I have some accomplishments in the medical field as well. The Third Kazekage and your leaders will need some time to discuss matters."

"I have some patients here. Come with me and take a look at them."

Upon hearing her words, the Konoha shinobi immediately drew their weapons, while Aburame Hanfeng questioned her directly.

"Lady Chiyo, this is going too far. Yuu is a shinobi of Konoha."

Ignoring their wariness and refusal, she instead spoke in a tone that allowed no doubt.

"Don't be nervous. I only want him to treat a few patients. I guarantee with my reputation that nothing will go wrong. If you don't trust me, you may come along with us."

As the two sides faced off, Uchiha Yuu's voice broke the silence.

"Since Lady Chiyo has sincerely invited me, then I'll make the trip."

He placed his right hand against Hanfeng's chest to stop him from taking things further, then whispered in his ear:

"They won't attack me. Most likely, they want to obtain healing ninjutsu from me. I'll just demonstrate it once in front of her."

The Konoha shinobi knew that healing ninjutsu was unimaginably difficult. Otherwise, Lady Tsunade would not still be so troubled by it.

For safety's sake, Aburame Hanfeng stayed by Uchiha Yuu's side.

Chiyo did not waste any time. She led the two of them to a medical room, where shinobi injured during missions were being treated.

Sunagakure understood the importance of medical care and the significance of shinobi to the village. Among the Five Great Shinobi Villages, it had always been one of the villages pushing forward in the medical field.

"Give me a hand, boy."

Before them was a shinobi whose arm had been slashed by a kunai. The flesh around the wound had already turned black. Chiyo deliberately had him treat the man because she wanted to see just how far his Medical Ninjutsu had progressed.

Unfortunately, Uchiha Yuu had not yet learned the Chakra Scalpel, so he could only use tools to cut away all the damaged flesh.

The man endured the pain as he watched his flesh being carved away bit by bit. If Chiyo had not been standing nearby, he would have thought Konoha had sent someone to assassinate him.

"All the outer flesh has necrotized. Leaving rotten flesh behind will only delay the wound's healing."

Once everything had been handled, a Healing Technique covered his palm, stimulating the man's cells to heal.
