"Do you have some strange fetish, kid?" Lin Yi looked at Ye Xing in astonishment.
"N-no, big brother. I just figured, since we're already here, we might as well take everything." Ye Xing scratched the back of his head and answered sheepishly.
"Well, if you want to, I won't stop you!" Lin Yi stared at Ye Xing for a moment before speaking slowly.
"Great! Just give me a moment, big brother." As he spoke, Ye Xing began prying up the floor tiles.
He crouched on the floor, hooked his fingers beneath the edges, and levered the tiles out one by one.
Just as Ye Xing had pulled up half the tiles in the entire hall, Lin Yi suddenly sensed a fluctuation from the Teleportation Array.
The array markings trembled faintly, spiritual light flickering as though someone had activated the teleportation from the other end. He knew this fluctuation all too well. It was the same frequency he had felt when using the Teleportation Array himself.
"Shit, stop digging! Someone's coming! Get ready to leave!" Lin Yi immediately shouted to Ye Xing.
As he spoke, Lin Yi took out his bluestone-slab Teleportation Array and snatched up the still-bewildered Ye Xing.
Ye Xing was still clutching half a floor tile. When Lin Yi hauled him up, it fell to the floor and shattered.
Lin Yi stepped into the Teleportation Array and hurriedly took out Spirit Stones to charge it. Spiritual energy began flowing in slowly.
Just as Lin Yi was charging the Teleportation Array,
a figure appeared in the hall's Teleportation Array. Light flashed, and the figure stepped out.
The newcomer surveyed the utterly empty hall. The moment he had sensed unusual activity in the ancestral tomb's Bagua Teleportation Array, he had rushed over.
