Background / History

Ye Xing entered the Human Sovereign Trial from the Ye Family of the Profound Yellow Ancient Domain, ostensibly to gain experience. Despite his family background and extensive resources, he admits that his family has little expectation for his combat ability. His Perfect Spirit-Nurturing cultivation was accumulated through medicinal pills and spirit fruits rather than practical fighting. 75 76 90

He first encountered Lin Yi in the Great Wilderness, mistook him for a powerless native, and attacked after being insulted. Lin Yi effortlessly subdued him, confiscated his storage ring and silver-white flying vessel, and forced him to relinquish their ownership marks. 75

With his possessions gone and no confidence in surviving alone, Ye Xing chose to remain with Lin Yi. He became the vessel's pilot and assisted in locating Human Sovereign Tokens, gradually shifting from a resentful captive to a dependable—if reluctant—companion. 76 79
