Before she was sealed away, Otsutsuki Kaguya had actually used the power of her Yin–Yang Release to create a strange life-form. It had remained active in the Ninja World for over a thousand years. If Uchiha Jobu had not exposed it, Otsutsuki Hagoromo would never have known that someone had been operating right under his nose.

Otsutsuki Hagoromo could not really be blamed for that. Yin–Yang Release itself was one of the most powerful forces in this world. Even with Otsutsuki Clan blood flowing through him, there was no guarantee that he could detect a life-form created through Yin–Yang Release.

Black Zetsu was filled with hatred. Had he known he would be displayed before Otsutsuki Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths, like an exhibit, he would never have sought out Uchiha Madara, much less confidently believed that he could fool a thug with the Rinnegan.

Of course, Uchiha Jobu had deliberately revealed Black Zetsu to make certain things seem more reasonable. More likely, he simply wanted to screw Black Zetsu over.
