Honestly, watching the anime, he had always felt that far too much about the pirates made no sense. Some of it seemed downright absurd.

Take the Shichibukai. They were originally presented as a force capable of rivaling the Four Emperors, one the Marines used to keep the seas in balance. Then Straw Hat King Luffy came along and beat them until they had no credibility left. Forget rivaling the Four Emperors—even their officers could have thrashed the Shichibukai a thousand times over.

Then there were the four sea emperors who supposedly ruled the New World. He had expected fearsome figures, but one was an old man who went around collecting sons, using his overwhelming strength to make people call him Dad.

Another was a ridiculously elderly mother who had given birth to more than a hundred children and claimed to have built an entire family by herself.

She was a glutton, too, prone to losing her mind. When she went berserk, even her children weren't safe. One bite, and crunch.

Then there was that fool Kaido, who genuinely believed he was the World's Strongest Creature and that no one could kill him. The Marines had captured him many times, and he had even set an astonishing record by surviving repeated executions.

But killing Kaido really wasn't that hard. Feed him another Devil Fruit, for instance, or give him a bath in seawater with Seastone. Without his fruit powers, would he still survive?

So when Kaido proudly called himself the World's Strongest Creature, Uchiha Jobu nearly laughed his teeth out. What a brainless idiot. These pirates clearly never read books. They had nothing in their heads but muscle.
