Background / History
Long Xiao founded the sect after Qian Daoliu, Bo Saixi, Bibi Dong, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong destroyed Black Mountain Stronghold. Rather than abandon its fortified site and treasury, he claimed it as a base for gathering resources, cultivating, and summoning additional followers. 3
When the founding members proposed names including the Sea God Sect, Sword God Sect, and Prison God Sect, Long Xiao rejected their grandiose suggestions and chose Divine Sect. He formally adopted the title of Sect Master, delegated finances to Bibi Dong, and instructed the group to conceal their unfamiliarity with the Mystic Heaven Continent’s cultivation system. 4
The sect gained local legitimacy when Gu Rong presented it to Azure City’s officials as a force dedicated to protecting civilians and preserving peace. City Lord Xu Zhong subsequently committed Azure City’s labor, funds, and political support to the construction effort. 11
