As the Eye of the Three Realms opened, thunder cracked through a clear sky, shaking the nine heavens.
Above the Nine Dragons Forbidden City, thunderclouds gathered into the shape of a heavenly eye spanning the sky. Wind and cloud changed color, drawing the world's attention, as dense heavenly might descended in a phenomenon much like the arrival of Heavenly Punishment.
Just as Xiao Ying thought the Eye of the Three Realms, a Heaven-Gifted Divine Ability from the Upper Realm, might exceed the world's laws and draw Heavenly Punishment, a veiled yet clear, vast yet transcendent sense of puzzlement and inquiry reached his mind.
It was the World Will.
Unfortunately, it was the will of the Pangu World, which had lost its spiritual intelligence. Like a machine or puppet, it acted only on instinct, yet possessed a faint, bewildered awareness like that of a young child.
