Leonard shook his head. Something had felt wrong to him at the time, too. He had figured those three old men wouldn't simply wait to die and would try to flee, so he had chosen to take the attack head-on.
Just look how they'd ended up... Two of the useless fools were dead, their bodies already reduced to ash... Leonard whipped his head around and quietly warned the surviving Undead beside him, "The things by the right-hand wall—go grab them!"
Anything that had survived such a terrifying attack and its dissolving power intact had to be at least a Lesser Divine Artifact.
