The audience aboard Aglaia's Floating Castle was growing a little impatient... the giant screen showed nothing but Ulrant's grandstanding and the silent clash of gazes among those black-haired girls.
The Undead had not put their plotting directly on the giant screen... once they began discussing matters, they shut off the broadcast over there.
That was perfectly normal.
Although competition among the Undead had decreased greatly after arriving on Toril due to William's intervention... claiming there was none at all would be absurd.
Not to mention that there had always been a small group doing their own thing... since they were not from the same country, those people only stayed in a corner and fought alongside the main force during world quests. At all other times, they played out their own knightly order wars.
Though they had fewer people, their competitiveness was no weaker.
But if they had a chance to cause trouble for Xue Yunfeng and his lot, they did not mind joining forces now and then.
Still, they understood that the game had not been made by their own country, and William was famously a real NPC with immense privileges. His position was naturally biased... there might be fairness on the surface, but distinctions behind the scenes were tactics they often used themselves.
They did not believe William would ever treat them with true fairness.
But... they genuinely loved this game, with its immense freedom and values that suited their own... though they cursed the incompetent game company every day, asking them to stop playing was impossible.
And so, situations like this arose... sometimes things had to be kept secret from the public.
But that affected the Gods who wanted to watch the show!
