What truly frightened the people of Toril about the Undead was their knights' charge.

Spellcasters' attacks were terrifying, yes, but anyone who had lived long enough on Toril had seen even gods unleash their full power. However strong a spell was, however wide its reach, they could accept it.

But knights riding magical mounts toward them like a roaring flood never failed to make their hearts pound.

The knights charged without looking back. No matter how many obstacles stood ahead, nothing could stop them. To the people of Toril, who always put survival first, the sight took their breath away every time.

They knew the Undead could fight like that because they could not truly die. Even so, watching them face blades without a trace of fear made those otherworldly elves seem terrifying.

Perhaps the most frightening thing in any world was that kind of reckless disregard for death.

The Lich in the Bone Tower felt the same way.

He could not understand how anyone could charge straight into a Mage Tower!

Multicolored light burst across the sky. Those knights even had every elemental attribute covered!

Against such madness, matching attributes to defenses had become meaningless.

His Bone Tower at the entrance to the dimensional space really could not hold out much longer!

"Huh? That fluctuation... is there another space nested inside this one?" Xue Yunfeng, who stood at the rear watching the dimensional space, turned to Mo Bi Fanchen behind him. "Mo Bi, take the Space-Time Sorcerers and attack at full strength. Looks like that Bone Tower does more than guard the entrance!"

Mo Bi Fanchen quickly gathered several thousand Sorcerers and rushed with them to the Bone Tower. Transparent Space Dragons appeared with a roar, carving countless spatial rifts as they slammed into the Mage Tower before them.
