Aislin and Rosero were slow to react.
Even after Delifus had recovered enough to start barking orders at his attendants, making them run around in circles for him, Aislin, as the owner of the airship, showed no reaction at all.
All that could be said was that she had observed for a few days at most. Once she saw that Delifus could only lie there without moving, she stopped paying any attention to what was happening in her own lounge.
In any case, the airship's main control room was separate. Even if she occasionally needed to check whether the airship had strayed from its course... though, logically speaking, these artifacts should never deviate from their preset routes and directions, there were always spells in this world that could affect an artifact's judgment system... Aislin did not need to greet Delifus through the door.
Hill could understand Rosero doing nothing... whether it was Glasya behind Aislin or Lathander, whom Delifus might bring along, neither was someone that Devil Duke wanted to deal with.
He absolutely did not want to greet either of them during this journey.
If Hill had once been unable to figure out Rosero's attitude toward Glasya, he now understood most of it... she was an unlucky employer who was constantly on the verge of bankruptcy and could dump certain blame onto Rosero at any time.
If he had not been poor and powerless, forced to live off that meager salary, Rosero would have run away long ago.
And since he had lasted so long in Glasya's court, he surely knew every detail about the Succubus Queen.
Clearly, Rosero would rather risk having an intimate exchange with Lathander than remain in Sia Tower at Glasya's side.
Hill was a little confused... hadn't Asmodeus arranged everything Glasya did in advance?
