The airship could go no farther when it was still two hundred kilometers from Keslote.

Lightning and thunder raged through the sky. Bolts of lightning flashed one after another, while thunder rolled without end overhead. The lightning formed a dense web that encircled the entire city of Keslote.

Thunder rumbled across the heavens. Though it was Time of Twilight, the sky shone as bright as day. The earth trembled violently as well, and thunder roared from beneath the ground.

Keslote trembled beneath the protection of a silver-white barrier.

The Noble Temple's three red-robed archbishops floated in the air, their eyes shut and their faces expressionless.

Three faint, translucent figures appeared behind them—the God of Nobles' divine envoys.

A Divine Descent of this magnitude was already beyond the reach of mortals. Falan did not dare approach any closer, so the three could only watch Keslote beneath the lightning with heavy hearts.

Fortunately, although the God of Space-Time's Priests were not particularly devout, there were enough of them.

The pitch-black sky raged with Lightning and Thunder for over an hour.

Yet no matter how earth-shattering it was, no matter how mountains crumbled and the earth split apart, Keslote's barrier held on. It trembled precariously, as though it might shatter at any moment, but it endured with stubborn resilience.

The three of them relaxed slightly.

Falan said, "Can you find Dionysio? He couldn't possibly have sent only these three red-robed archbishops into battle."

Hill searched for a long time but found nothing. He said hesitantly, "Those Legendary figures from earlier have returned too, haven't they? Including the one from the Love Temple."

Falan shook his head. "Those people have already completed their mission. Dionysio won't let them take any more risks. What is happening now has nothing to do with mortals."

Hill had never felt so weak and helpless, even with his powerful grandfather standing beside him. Even the ship that had once seemed incredibly powerful could now only hide among the clouds.

This was a world where Gods existed. They had always seemed so distant, but when one truly faced a God, all one could feel was the weakness of mortals.

Falan sighed from the bottom of his heart. "Legendary Mages travel everywhere, searching for the truth of the world and the origin of life. Is it because they have been stirred by something like this?

No wonder so many Legendary Mages, in their twilight years, abandon their souls to become gods' dependents.

The embodiment of Natural Law... sometimes it really is terrifying."

Adrian suddenly shouted, "Look! Directly above Keslote! That's Dionysio!"

This man, known as the one closest to a god within the Noble Temple, had now become the incarnation of a god.

He held the Rose Sword, and the golden, translucent figure behind him held an identical sword.

Dionysio and the golden figure behind him raised their swords together and slashed down at Keslote.

"Gods!" Hill cried, pressing his hand tightly against the crystal window.

The God of Nobility and Sovereignty, who was thought to act only when the God of Space-Time ascended the Divine Throne, had actually moved ahead of time!

A figure stood atop Keslote's protective barrier. He held a golden Divine Scale in his left hand and a tablet in his right.

The tablet in his right hand instantly transformed into a massive shield, completely blocking the God of Nobles' attack.

William! There was no figure of the God of Space-Time behind him. Hill was stunned. Could William be the God of Space-Time?

No matter how favored by the Gods a Legendary Knight was, he could not possibly stop a God as powerful as the God of Nobility and Sovereignty!

Dionysio's voice rang out, ethereal and seemingly quiet, yet it reached Hill's ears with ease.

"Just as I thought, William Salar. You are the God of Space-Time! Sinner who broke the order—once you are destroyed, the world can return to its proper order!"

A tremendous sound of prayer rose from Keslote. The God of Nobility and Sovereignty said disdainfully, "Can such a little faith truly help your feeble divine power?"

William remained silent, saying nothing as he held up the massive shield.

Yet countless motes of light floated out from every direction of Salar, flying madly toward William.

"Hm? What is this?" the God of Nobility and Sovereignty asked with interest.

"My godhood ascension ritual!" An ethereal voice came from the sky.

William stood perfectly still, but the voice had not come from him.

The prayers continued without end. For some reason, the God of Nobles actually stopped attacking.

"Just as I thought, you have curiosity too! You want to know who I am, and what is going on with William, don't you?" the voice said with a laugh.

The God of Nobility and Sovereignty said nothing, tacitly acknowledging it.

A figure suddenly floated up from below and came to stand beside the God of Nobility and Sovereignty.

It was the saintess from the Love Temple. Colored silks drifted behind her, hazily concealing a figure.

It seemed the Goddess of Love and Arts had come as well.

"Hehe, don't regret it later!" the God of Space-Time said with a smile.

Falan landed the ship on the ground.

The three stepped onto the deck and watched quietly.

Whenever a God ascended the Divine Throne, the World Consciousness would show the entire world the key events before Their ascension.

At such a time, one had to maintain at least the most basic respect. Other than Gods, no one dared remain in the air; even birds would land on the ground.

William released his hands, and the Divine Scale and the restored tablet floated into the air.

Those were the God of Space-Time's Divine Artifacts! Why could William use them so easily?

People whose minds were full of confusion could only wait for the truth revealed by the World Consciousness.

The God of Space-Time truly was someone from a very long time ago.

That should have been an era when royal authority and noble power stood at their peak, while commoners could barely survive.

What appeared in the sky was a haggard, skinny woman in ragged clothes giving birth.

A figure wrapped in a red banner plunged into her womb.

Hill's eyes widened in shock.

The child was born and slowly grew up, suffering endless humiliation.

Because he refused to lower his head, and because his spine remained proud.

His parents had another child. Thinking he was disobedient and always caused trouble, they drove him from their home.

The twelve-year-old boy was eventually beaten and kicked, then thrown into the wilds.

At the brink of death, he awakened as a Sorcerer.

Hill watched the boy surrounded by blazing flames, his heart filled with sorrow. If it had been me, what could I have done?

The boy seemed to become a different person. He began doing things far more decisively. Relying on his strong body, he sampled countless plants and discovered many kinds of food and medicinal herbs, all of which he shared selflessly with the impoverished people around him.

He led the poor into the mountains to hunt and into the water to catch fish.

Unfortunately, just as life was beginning to improve, someone informed the nobles in the city.

The nobles came to capture this rare Sorcerer.

The people who had once followed him fled without hesitation.

In the end, he escaped into the Wilds.

Through his difficult struggle for survival in the Wilds, he persevered through every setback and grew stronger and stronger.

Eventually, he fled into another noble's territory.

This noble was a compassionate and kind person. He believed the poor needed help and the nobles needed restraint.

Seeing the noble's chaotic laws and regulations, he could not resist lending a hand.

In the end, the noble swore to implement this code of law throughout the world, setting off on a journey across many lands to persuade the kings of every nation.

Falan drew in a sharp breath. "The Justice God!"

He exhausted himself helping the Justice God draft law after law.

But the God of Nobility and Sovereignty appeared. At that time, gods could still easily contact their followers on earth.

He opposed most of the laws proposed by the Justice God, and all restraints placed upon nobles were struck out.

"Hehe, I know who you are now." The God of Nobility and Sovereignty laughed coldly. "What a tenacious life!"

Unfortunately, at that moment, every living being was restrained by the World Consciousness and unable to move. Otherwise, the God of Nobles would likely have attacked directly.

He glanced beyond the sky. "Flores! Your reputation is probably about to be ruined."

In order to become a god, the Justice God ultimately abandoned those laws.

Only then did the God of Nobility and Sovereignty cease blocking His ascent to the Divine Throne.

But the God of Space-Time at the time could not understand. He hated the Justice God for forgetting the oath he had once made to him.

The Devil Bloodline within his body began to burn. He became a Legendary Sorcerer of the Devil Bloodline.

Having lost his human reason, his heart contained only hatred for the Justice God and the God of Nobility and Sovereignty.

But he hated the Justice God even more.

He had sorted through every one of Justice's laws, one by one, and now he intended to destroy them one by one.

The Justice God, knowing He had wronged him, endured for a long time. But when he nearly destroyed the contractual foundation of Justice, the Justice God finally acted and wounded him.

As he fled into the Wilds, the God of Nobility and Sovereignty, who had been watching him all along, threw him into the entrance to Hell.

At that moment, he finally regained a trace of reason.

Seeing the Devils in Hell reaching out to welcome him, he silently mouthed words and flew outward with all his strength.

A teardrop scattered through the air. Hill silently recited along with him: Uphold morality and conviction, remember discipline and conduct.

Hell was not so easy to escape. He persisted for a long time, and when he was nearly in despair, Nature reached out to help him.

A massive tree branch dragged him out of Hell's entrance.

The hazy Nature Consciousness heard his sorrowful cry and extended a helping hand.

He sat beneath the enormous tree and felt the Devils' wild laughter within his soul.

He bowed to thank the Nature Consciousness that had helped him, touched the great tree, then charged into the sky without hesitation.

Within a spatial rift beyond the world, he cut away half of his soul. After using Spatial Blades that wandered chaotically to crush that half of the Devil's soul, he fell unconscious in that chaotic space.

No one knew how long passed. When he awoke, his flesh had already vanished, leaving only a silver-white soul.

He had been assimilated by space.

But the remaining half of his soul left him unable to move, and he drifted through the universe along the spatial rifts.

Eventually, he entered the Space-Time River.

Perhaps his unyielding will moved the eternal laws of time and space, which had flowed unchanged since antiquity. He resonated with the Space-Time River.

But his incomplete soul prevented him from fully merging with the Space-Time River. Left with no choice, he completely divided his soul and cast it into the space beyond the domain.

He wanted to find himself in a parallel time-space.
