They had probably dealt with this group of Undead in Faerunriel before. Otherwise, Baldy would not have chosen to save them. It must have been a quest with lasting reputation rewards for them to behave so well.
The Undead certainly did not usually show this much respect to the Alliance commander.
But reputation was at stake!
When it came to serious matters, once Xue Yunfeng made a decision, most people in his Alliance would still listen.
These guild leaders might have been calling him Snow Old Dog moments ago, but mocking Xue Yunfeng personally and trusting his judgment enough to follow his orders were two entirely different things.
Hill looked away. Once the Holy Knights saw more of the Undead, they would learn what "if an enemy says it, even the truth is wrong" meant.
As for whether the Undead were chaotic or lawful, that depended on the situation.

"Alice is definitely safe. When William found out she'd gone to Quins alone, he ordered all the Undead to protect her," Xue Yunfeng said with an odd look. "But I think what you really want to know, Mr. Hill, is whether that leopard has been forgiven.
