Arveiaturace shifted her head, trying to find an angle that would let her read along. Hill had used the largest paper he could, but even with her body flat against the floor, her long, narrow head was still far too high.
She knew Polymorph, but the White Dragon Queen preferred her dragon form and could never remember such a lengthy incantation. Arveiaturace took out her Magic Book and hesitated, then decided against using it.
Plenty of mages made mistakes even when reading a spell aloud. And they still had to channel their power according to the Magic Weave's feedback. Arveiaturace doubted she was up to that. She was better at studying.
