As long as Vera, as the organizer, swore to keep them safe, the fairies were happy to perform under the gaze of "grown-ups."
They loved being the center of attention. It was in their nature.
But by fairy tradition, the Four Seasons Festival could only be held in a clearing deep in the forest... and there were far too many Undead for Green Forest to hold.
She could change some of the pointless decrees issued under Titania's rule, but forests were where fairies had first come from—their home, unchanged by generations of fairy queens. Vera knew she could never change the venue. The fairies would not recognize it as a true Summer Solstice Festival.
