This place was originally just a Small Town inhabited by Moonlight Elf.

Today, however, it has been transformed into a super- Heavy City, a colossal metropolis capable of housing millions of residents.

With the personal involvement of Archmage and Grand Archmage, regardless of whether the city was exquisitely constructed, the construction speed was unimaginably fast, and the quality was beyond question.

The city walls, over fifty meters high, were covered with various glowing green vines, making it seem as if enemies could easily climb them.

However, the greatest use of this plant is for defense, not against enemies climbing it, but against the Mana Cannon of Dark Creatures.

After all, relying entirely on Magic Barrier or defensive shields to withstand attacks is a waste for a fallen King City.

Behind the city walls, there are many huge trees that rise from the ground, forming all sorts of strange shapes. These are arrow towers and cannon towers. The Elves rarely use any other method to build cities, as long as it can be done with plants.

Upon entering the city, a verdant Ocean of green, William saw many Elf Commoners. They appeared somewhat melancholic, harboring a hidden anger, but it seemed they still held the upper hand in this war.

The deaths of millions of Moonlight Elf were exchanged for the deaths of tens of millions of Dark Creatures, and the number of Demon died was also considerable.

With such a huge advantage.

The Moonlight Elf has shifted from a defensive stance to a counter-offensive.

They wanted to reclaim their King City and would not allow the traitor to live. Only by killing him could they appease their fallen kin.

But William felt that these Elf ' thinking was still a bit slow...

Or rather...

The reaction arc is a bit too large!

Having lived a long time, they believe that everything should be done slowly. According to their thinking, this war could easily last for decades!

But they forgot that this is not the past.

Their tribesmen weren't that numerous, nor were their forces that formidable; they simply wouldn't be forced to wage war for decades.

The wars of the Fourth Era are characterized by their speed and pace.

If these Immortal Species Elf don't have a good leader and continue fighting at such a slow pace, the number of casualties will definitely be high.

As William followed several Elf to the center of the city...

He spotted several men with unfriendly expressions.

"Not even a little bit of goodwill?" The Prince curled his lip. He had gained the favorability of countless Elf boys and girls as he walked by, but these few guys were really quite different.

So he asked a question intentionally.

Only then did they realize that those guys were actually the Second Prince's personal Personal Guard.

"The Second Prince?" William pondered for a moment, as if he understood something.

As he approached the center of the city.

They gradually arrived directly beneath the tallest Moonlight Tree.

This enormous Moonlight Tree is thousands of meters tall, with its branches and leaves stretching out to block out the sky.

The enormous tree trunk was dotted with numerous small treehouses, filled with Elf elves, while the trunk itself was hundreds of meters in diameter...

The leaves overhead shimmered with silver light, radiating dappled brilliance.

In particular, the leaves seemed to be consciously closing, allowing the sunlight to shine on the earth so that the Elf on the ground wouldn't be deprived of its warmth.

As for the visible silver light, it is none other than the Mana provided to Professional for cultivation.

There isn't just one Moonlight Tree.

There are some Moonlight Tree nearby that are hundreds of meters tall, but this one in front of us is definitely an ancient artifact.

The Elves of the Second Era possessed many wondrous plants.

The Elves, in particular, have an extraordinary love and attachment to trees.

Aside from the World Tree, almost all the magical trees on the Gods Continent were taken away by the Elves. They practically spared only the Phoenix's Ancestral Parasol Tree, which was uprooted.

The Elven Empire at that time was so powerful that it was unimaginable.

When William was still Player, he entered some kind of Time-Space fragment and saw the Imperial City of the Elven Empire.

It was practically a world made up of countless giant trees.

The World Tree, towering as high as the sky, sits at the very center, surrounded by trees tens of thousands of meters tall and thousands of meters tall, arranged outwards in sequence.

The Elf of the Second Era did not primarily live on the surface of the earth.

The branches and leaves of the trees are connected, and rivers, lakes, and grasslands can all be moved onto them. They are like Angel living in Sky City.

pity.

Everything ended with the destruction of the World Tree.

That astonishing explosion.

Far too many rare trees have been destroyed.

This is also why the guardian tree of the Moonlight Elven Clan is merely a Moonlight Tree several thousand meters tall.

William arrived at the ancestral land of the Moonlight Tree.

With the fall of the Elven Royal City and the complete loss of the Royal Palace, the Moonlight Tree once again became the residence of the Elf Royal Family and high-ranking officials.

This is a no-fly zone; the only way for William to get up there is through the entrance below.

Upon seeing him, the two guards promptly drew their weapons to block the doorway, glancing at William with scrutinizing eyes before turning their attention to the familiar figure behind him.

"Who is he?" the guard asked, puzzled.

"His Highness the Black Leaf Elf Prince is also a friend of Princess Annie's. The princess once instructed me to bring him to see her as soon as I found him," the guide replied with a smile.

The two guards exchanged a glance, sheathed their weapons, and nodded respectfully to William, but still said, "Your Highness, please wait a moment while I go and ask Her Princess."

"No need, just lead him in to find me."

The guard was stunned for a moment when an old voice entered his ears. He glanced at the others, but they obviously hadn't heard the voice.

So he smiled and pushed open the door, leading William inside. But he was still puzzled; it wasn't Princess Annie's voice, but rather the long-absent Grand Elder informing him.

The two entered the interior of the enormous Moonlight Tree.

A Magic passageway running from top to bottom appeared before William's eyes.

The guard glanced at William, who had a calm expression, and then led him into the Magic passage, just as he began to chant the incantation.

Swish!

The scenery in front of them instantly changed to the same shape, and the surrounding tree holes shrank by more than a few hundred meters, even reaching their limit.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances.

He had now reached the top of the Moonlight Tree, and the person he was going to see was definitely not Annie.

The guard seemed to know he was hesitating, but he just smiled and said, "Your Highness, Don't worry, it's just that the Grand Elder wishes to see you."

So he gestured for William to come over, showing that he himself had no intention of following.

Without much thought, His Prince walked out calmly.

He didn't have time to consider why the Elves Grand Elder wanted to see him.

But no matter what, he understood.

Just stay calm!

With your Charm Value, you don't need to be afraid of dying.

As they left the tree hollow and arrived at the only treehouse...

The wooden door creaked open.

A middle-aged man dressed in a white Magic robe was lying calmly in a rocking chair, looking at him with a curious expression.

Those eyes.

Like two moons, they were filled with sacred light.

Before William could even bow...

Karmoro suddenly exclaimed, "Treasury thieves!"

"Huh?" William looked bewildered. After a couple of seconds of stunned silence, as if trying to come to his senses, he quickly bowed and said, "Greetings, Grand Elder. Greetings, Saint."

"..." Karmoro ignored him. The old man stroked his chin thoughtfully. "It really isn't him?"

But I have a feeling it's him!

But the most important thing is!

Why!

Why!

Drop!

[Hint: Karmoro's favorability towards you has increased by 30 points]

P. S.: I'm posting a bit late today. I took a nap, and when I woke up it was past 9 PM. A member in the group sent me a link to a funny video, I clicked on it, and that's why the update is late...
