The Magic Sanctum's headquarters stood in the eastern part of the Western Region, near Moonlight Lake.
The terrain was remarkably flat. Moonlight Lake lay to the east, while endless forests stretched to the west, south, and north.
Nine Magic Towers rose there, encircling the Spirit Saint's Magic Sanctum like stars around the moon.
The tallest structure barely resembled a Magic Tower. With its layered halls and Rune markings everywhere, it looked more like a temple to a Deity.
And in a sense, that was exactly what it was.

The Crystals atop two of the Magic Towers had lost their glow. Their energy had not run out; Erin and Dylan, whose souls were bound to them, had died.
The more powerful a Professional became, the less inclined they were to have children. Neither of them had left descendants to inherit their possessions, so new Grand Archmages would naturally take up residence in their Magic Towers.
There were requirements for inheriting a Magic Tower, of course. The candidate's Talent had to be a good fit.
