Enchantment and Bed

After settling the horses and briefly sorting through his backpack, Li Wei immediately ran to the warehouse to grab a pile of materials, then rushed to the industrial zone to begin building various devices.

First was the Dwarf Smelting Array. This thing was nearly larger than the blacksmith shop beside it. After quite a bit of effort and using a considerable amount of iron, Li Wei finally built it.

Next came the various Dwarven forging tables, several of them in different sizes. One of them was even a large pendulum hammer that required an overhead support point to construct.

After giving it some thought, Li Wei simply expanded a huge underground forging workshop beneath the industrial zone and moved all the Dwarf-related equipment down there.

"This feels just like a Dwarf working environment now."

They were all underground, after all.

Li Wei turned around, carried over a large pile of coal, tossed it into the smelting array, and then added stone.

As the fuel continued to burn and release energy, the stones inside gradually melted, producing bucket after bucket of lava.

Li Wei directly poured them into water, turning them into obsidian.

Then he mined it up with a Dwarven refined steel pickaxe.

Just like that, he had his raw materials.

A moment later, in a newly unplanned area, Li Wei opened the Crafting Table.

Achievement Unlocked: Enchanter

Before long, a block with an obsidian base, diamonds set into its corners, and a floating book in the middle was placed on the ground.

The Enchanting Table was finally complete!

Sensing someone approaching, the book automatically opened and turned its front toward Li Wei, making it easier for him to read.

It was remarkably magical.

When he touched the book, strange runes appeared inside. No matter how hard Li Wei looked, he could only understand a little; the rest was nothing but gibberish.

Only one of the properties gained through enchanting could be known beforehand.

Of course, Li Wei would not begin enchanting right away. To maximize the Enchanting Table's effectiveness, he still needed bookshelves.

Very soon, rows of two-meter-tall bookshelves surrounded the Enchanting Table. As though answering a summons, transparent runes slowly drifted out from the shelves and gathered toward the floating book at the center of the Enchanting Table.

Staring at the Enchanting Table, Li Wei suddenly thought that when Falrodan came next time, he would definitely call him a wizard again. This time, there would be no explaining it away no matter what he said.

After confirming that the Enchanting Table had indeed reached its maximum level, Li Wei excitedly took out his Ancient Elven Sword and placed it on the table.

The ancient sword left Li Wei's hands and floated above the Enchanting Table.

Three options emerged from the book.

He automatically ignored the first two.

Li Wei looked straight at the third.

And so, a Sharpness V sword was born. It had a full 12 attack damage, surpassing every weapon in the original version.

With a full set of Protection IV armor and an Ancient Elven Sword even stronger than a Netherite sword, Li Wei estimated that if he ran into that twenty-man Warg cavalry squad from Ogre Forest again, he could fight them head-on without needing an ambush.

As for ogres, he could just brute-force them directly as well, without needing any techniques.

At this point, enemies below a certain scale could no longer pose much of a threat to Li Wei.

Leaving the Enchanting Table, Li Wei looked at the sword in his hand, which only had three enchantments, and still felt it was not enough.

But regardless of whether it had enough enchantments, he truly did not have enough experience.

What other way was there to obtain good enchanted books?

Fishing.

Not only could fishing yield treasures, it also gave experience.

But fishing rods required string.

String...

It was hard to imagine that after all this time, he had never obtained any string.

Did he really have to go fight those gigantic spiders capable of eating people? But such enormous spiders seemed to exist only in the Black Forest or Mordor.

Time to cast a few lines!

In the blink of an eye, night fell.

Bows, leather, Rotten Flesh, bowls, tripwire hooks, sticks, water bottles, enchanted books...

"Unfortunately, there aren't any good enchantments."

Looking at the pile of fish and miscellaneous junk in the chest, Li Wei stretched lazily.

Still, after fishing all day, he had risen past level thirty again.

He immediately made a new fishing rod and enchanted it.

Luck of the Sea III, Unbreaking III.

Unfortunately, there was no Lure.

"Not bad either."

Luck of the Sea III gave more than double the chance of catching treasure compared to an unenchanted rod.

By now, it was completely dark.

Li Wei went to the ranch and fed the animals again.

Several pieces of wool dropped into his inventory.

This was Li Wei's first time obtaining wool.

Come to think of it, he had never made a bed before.

Li Wei suddenly realized.
