Larvesta Evolves!

After returning to Origin Spirit Island, Xia Chen's life became quite busy.

He helped the Carbink colony adapt to their new environment, brought Diancie into the Pokémon's daily training, and made several trips to inspect the company and research institute.

He also had to find time to cover a few Gym battles for Christina. It was not until August that he finally became free again.

Sylveon somehow learning Geomancy had already been a pleasant surprise. What Xia Chen had not expected was that Ceruledge's strength had improved dramatically during this period as well.

In just one month, his energy intensity had leaped from below Gym level, far behind his companions, to nearly Elite Four level.

That meant the gap between him and the first echelon, Sylveon and the others, had grown smaller and smaller.

Ceruledge explained this unusually rapid growth as the result of long accumulation finally paying off.

Still worried, Xia Chen gave him a comprehensive physical examination. The result showed that he was perfectly healthy, without the slightest abnormality.

Considering how each of his Pokémon had their own unique talents, Xia Chen stopped worrying about it.

Besides that, the other Pokémon had also made significant progress during this period.

Taken together, Xia Chen believed it was thanks to Xerneas's parting gift.
